I use this with headphone audio only and really like the product. I have this connected to my desktop computer on the end of a usb extension cable with the dongle inside a window. I can get to the end of my yard (100 feet or so) and my class 1 noise cancelling headphones provide me with great sounding audio. This setup also gives me noiseless audio which does not cutout throughout my main floor and in most of my basement. The basement has a couple of cutouts noted on the far side of a concrete garage wall but otherwise perfect. The software has a minimal learning curve and it all works well on my Windows 10 machine and pairing is a breeze. I was a little surprised to see the signal strength reading about 3/4 on the scale with any of my headphones only a couple of feet from the dongle but, as I've mentioned, the range is quite fine for my needs so I suspect all is working correctly.
The down side to this is that the Bluesoliel software does not come with a (one device) activation code. After an evaluation period you have to buy it from them then put in the code. Is that in itself a bad thing - not to me. Is it bad that this is not mentioned in the product description? Yes that is bad.Additionally, I could not figure a way to put in the driver for the device without the Bluesoliel.
