Our house was "wired for internet in all rooms" - what this meant was coax was in each room but not connected to anything. Our router/modem was in the living room as set up by AT&T. the nid was in the basement. nothing was connected to the coax and the wireless signal throughout the house was awful. Each of the coax ports in rooms led to the basement but not connected to anything.
These adapters worked PERFECTLY. One in the office upstairs to link the computers to the coax, a coax splitter in the basement to reroute the coax from the bedrooms to the living room, and another adapter in the living room to connect the coax main line to the router. All i had to do was plug these in with coax/ethernet and BOOM internet throughout the house. No set up, so having to return things or buy additional parts. just connect and go. Solved our problem for cheaper than a different internet plan or paying someone to rewire our house with ethernet.
