How to Use

Step 1: Prep your hair with TRESemmé Thermal Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner.

Great thermal protection spray! I purchased this as an add on to use with my John Frieda Salon Shape 1.5 Inch Hot Air Brush (that I love!) I am not expert in the areas of thermal protection sprays - I never used a flat iron - I pretty much gave up hope after the 80's ended. I will admit that I am not a fan of the TRESemme hair sprays because the boyfriend uses those & I hate the smell of those. I was very pleasantly surprised with the smell of this TRESemme product! It's very nice! It worked like a charm too. I use it when my hair is 80 percent dry before using my hot air brush, and I also use it for when I blow dry my hair "dry" (second or third day / no shampoo days) to protect it from the heat on my dry hair. Again, works like a charm! My hair is well protected from using heat & it is a great styling aid. I've used it to "fix" areas that I messed up along the way by spraying over again lightly. One reviewer said it isn't necessary to spend a lot of money on products like this. I wouldn't know from past experience but I certainly don't plan on it. I can see why it is so highly rated! It works great!

So I was trying to figure out how to do my hair as a guy and I quickly realized I would probably need to blow dry my hair and looking further I found out I would need a heat protectant and I came across this one and it is amazing.

I’ve tried blow-drying my hair without a heat protectant before and the difference is night and day. Without a heat protectant my hair is frizzy and fried but when I use a heat protectant it feels like it hasn’t even been blow-dried (besides the volume increase). This is a great heat protectant because it is light, it doesn’t make your hair oily, and it’s cheap (I bought my first bottle from amazon but I found out you can find this product for like $3-4 at Walmart so I got my second bottle from there).

Overall this is an awesome heat protectant to get if you need on and if you don’t currently use a heat protectant I hugely recommend one.

The product itself is pretty great, especially for someone with hair as long as mine. I've been maintaining my below-the-hip long hair for several years now (18 years, to be precise), and of late my hair has been complaining about all the blow drying after frequent hairwashes. I had been using a different product earlier, which was pretty decent, but wanted to try something better. This one is really good as a thermal protectant and my hair not only feels super smooth, but also smells good. The only reason of not giving 5 stars is the bottle itself, whose nozzle broke within 3 uses! So I dont spray it anymore, I actually open the bottle and apply the liquid directly on my damp hair before blow drying ;) Trust me, it works, except that it is a bit of a hassle especially when you are in a hurry. But as far as the product is concerned, it is really great especially for people having long, straight, fine hair like mine.

This spray has reduced the damage a LOT. It doesn't leave behind any oily or hard, hairspray-like residue. Only a good smell and silky hair. I would recommend this to anyone. It's not expensive or half-filled like some products are. The bottle is full when you open the package. So far, I have used it three times and I can already see this bottle will last me a good couple of months. The spray nozzle lets out a steady mist, covering my hair in the expected places. The only thing about the product that I found negative was the price. In my hometown, you can get the same size bottle of this stuff for a little cheaper. But all-in-all, DEFINITELY worth it!:)

After years of hearing about it, I finally decided to pick up one for myself. I have fine hair that I recently decided to style with heat. I use about 15 sprays all across my head from middle to the ends of my dry hair. My hair feels healthier and I don't have any more dry ends! It has a nice fragrant smell that last all day! If you're on the go, the spray can be lock activated by pushing a button on the side. You will never have to worry about it accidentally spraying inside your luggage! There are also tons of coupons in the circulars if you're looking to save a dollar or two on this product.

Bought this heat protectant spray as I like to occasionally curl my hair or blow dry it. Definitely good quality the scent is nice but not overpowering either. It’s soaks into your hair nicely with a non-greasy formula which is perfect it is also very effective and does what I want. The bottle itself is a very good size and you get a generous amount of product in it so it will last a very long time for me. Price point is good. My only small complaint is the handle that I spray with broke off almost immediately my first use I tried fixing it however it was done for good thing I had a Extra spray bottle sprayer from an empty bottle I was able to replace it very easily so I could continue to use this product other than that I definitely recommend this and I will continue to use and buy again.
