The cover makes it seem like a serious, and motivating story on how some people get into Triathlon but the theme was different than I expected and cheesy at times. It was motivating to some level, and I actually liked the story line and how the director brought so many stories and wove them together. The acting is not good at all, but it is an amateur movie so I am judging at a different standard. I liked that they touched on certain things only someone who has done a triathlon before would know. Definitely watch it, and support the independent film in my opinion.
I absolutely loved this movie. We watched it as a family. It showed real people struggling with real issues and how hard it is to train for a triathlon. My wife and I completed several trialthaolns. The commitment, strength and fears you have to face are real. This movie did an amazing job portraying real everyday people accomplishing extraordinary things. Great Job!!!
The title is a homonym for the thing the main character does and what she attempts; she tries a triathlon. The cast deals with a serious subject of cancer from different perspectives of the disease and how the people we meet form meaningful and unexpected bliss. Each cast member has a journey, not only through an Olympic triathlon but everyday trials and struggles. Humor is peppered through the movie making the drama relatable and enjoyable. I highly recommend!!!
The trailer is actually a lot better than the movie. There were too many dialogue sequences that dragged on for too long. Summary, it's ok. If you are looking for something to zone out to while on the indoor trainer or treadmill then this will be great for that!
