From the Author

The backstory of Chasing the Dragon tell the story of howthe opium trade turned into the billion dollar heroin trade of the nineties. Some triad detectives in Hong Kong were very generous with their time and theirknowledge and showed me how the Chinese gangs and the Mafia exploited theVietnam war and its aftermath to turn opium into an international heroin tradethat realized unimaginable profits.

But most importantly it introduced my favourite evercreation - Ruby Wen, the girl who couldn't lie straight in a torpedo tube andhas sex in glass elevators.

Was she based on someone I once knew? Possibly.

Isn't she great?
