I give this documentary 5 stars for keeping this in the public eye and for the outstanding production quality. I watched this documentary after reading the kindle version of "The Downing of TWA Flight 800" by James Sanders. I was a bit surprised that the injustices committed by the FBI on Sanders and his wife were not mentioned in this documentary. I say that bc the FBI's treatment of Sanders' is itself proof of cover-up. The federal government had to use all the power at its disposal to make sure the "mechanical failure" theory stayed its course. (I do highly recommend the Kindle version of the aforementioned book as it has been updated.) Also, the documentary's co-producer, Kristina Borjesson (one of the few honorable, real journalists left in the US) worked w/ Sanders during his investigation. Actually, she stood up to her boss (CBS) for handing over Sanders' seat cushion evidence to the FBI and got fired from her job. As Sanders' states in his book, "I guess CBS had too many Emmy winning journalists?" Sanders made a documentary called "Silenced" which is also 90 minutes and also worth every minute.

The "splatter" on the wing that occurred prior to break-up was interesting and something I was unaware of - apparently I wasn't the only one as shown by the expressions on the faces of the FBI and NTSB investigators as they claimed to know nothing about it. The documentary also claims three missiles exploded on or near Flight 800 which is also a bit different than what I'd read about. But, regarding evidence of this nature in disagreement with prior theories, I feel arguing about how many missiles struck Flight 800 is a bit like arguing about whether shots were fired at JFK from the bridge and/or grassy knoll and/or sewer. The point is that any one of those shots shows it could not have been a lone gunman and thus destroys the Warren Commission's theory. Details can be argued once it gets reopened, but let's agree that it was NOT MECHANICAL FAILURE which is what the FBI/NTSB cover-up hung their hat on. (Has anyone else noticed that despite a warning to the FAA that there was major danger of "static in the fuel system causing ignition", we've heard of no other commercial liners brought down "by the same issue that brought down TWA 800". Isn't that proof in itself also?)

This documentary gets all the important points right. The most important being that it keeps Flight 800 at the fore rather than relegated to "something the feds got away with years ago". I feel this incident should be properly investigated and righted. Unfortunately, as one of the presidential candidates is the wife of the man who has ultimate responsibility for this injustice, I won't my breath. That, and the fact that looking back on Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oklahoma City, TWA Flight 800 and then 911, Anthrax scare, Boston Marathon, and Sandy Hook - I can't help but conclude this looks like another instance of our government subverting the Constitution and bringing heartbreak, injustice, and shame on the American citizens. I'll close with one last thought: One can't help but think how much easier the cover-up would've been had the Patriot Act been in place at the time.

Nixon had to resign in lieu of impeachment for covering up Watergate, which was merely a handful of overzealous members of his committee to reelect the president ("CREEP") that broke into a hotel room wherein the democratic party stored certain documentation during the democratic national convention. There is no evidence that Nixon had knowledge of the break-in before the crime took place; however, there was sufficient evidence that Nixon engaged in a cover-up after the fact. In other words, Nixon resigned to avoid impeachment for a cover-up of an event that involved zero deaths. This documentary exposes the "official" investigation as one fraught with at least gross negligence and enough factual, not circumstantial, evidence of a cover-up of the death of hundreds of people aboard TWA Flight 800, Why? I have one name for you: Pat Tillman. If the leaders of our great nation felt it necessary to cover-up the death of an NFL star that left his lucrative carrier to defend this country only to lose his life to friendly fire, there is at least twice the incentive to cover-up the murder of over 200 unarmed civilians, Not only are these actions illegal, but they are tantamount to treason for which we all know the penalty is death. Yet, most of the individuals have been promoted. This documentary exposes yet another example of how the leaders of our great nation through its institutions, here the military, NTSB, CIA and FBI, flagrantly operate above the law. Any one of these scandals, i.e. Arbitration Act, Federal Reserve Act, Watergate, Arms for Hostages, Iran/Contra, both gulf wars, Guantanamo, etc. . ., render the constitution meaningless, and we, the American people, are guilty because we have and continue to allow it to happen. We, the citizens, are responsible for electing those leader. We should be ashamed of ourselves for failing to educate ourselves and vote.
