I was initially put-off by the price, but took a chance because of the high rated reviews - am very glad that I did. This catnip is better than any other brand, and a tiny pinch goes a long way because it is so fresh. This set would also make a tasteful gift for a pet owner, because the presentation in the box is nice.

When you open a jar, the quality is obvious. Everything in the jar is nice usable leaves (no sticks, mildew, or filler in this brand, unlike the junk sold by petstores). The smell is fresh, and it attracts my feline friends instantly. The cats really seem to notice the difference and to enjoy this dried catnip more than any other. It's as good as a fresh plant.

You get two glass jars that last for months, and a cute little drawstring bag to put the catnip leaves into. I didn't care about the bag when I first ordered, but I appreciate it now. One of the cats likes to kick it around while spazzing on the catnip, and it keeps the leaves from falling into the carpet.

Learned about her LOVE of catnip! She arrived with a supply. When that got low, I purchased some. It arrived in the Nick of time as her supply was depleted. Well, it seems Kitty is a catnip snob. Catnip was not up to her standards, apparently. One sniff! No more. Continued to offer daily, while trying to locate some new catnip. Ordered the Tabby James catnip. Kitty is so happy with this catnip! It's up to her standards. Kitty would give it 20 stars.

The cats respond to the fresher shipments with much greater enthusiasm than the dryer shipments. It costs more than other brand but my boys are worth it and it's a good idea to cater to 40 lb cats' every whim.

I wasn't sure if the cats even liked catnip, but all three dug this fresh stuff. Definitely worth the purchase and it looks much nicer than any other catnip products I've seen. The air-tight glass bottles are a nice bonus, I'm sure this will actually stay fresh for a long time (if his cats don't use it all up soon, anyway haha).
