I purchased this book on Amazon for about $22 in new condition.
Using a Persian Miniature style, Sours graphically represents much of the rich symbolism found in Baha'u'llah's "Tablet of the Holy Mariner"...
Students of Sufism and the Baha'i Faith will alike be drawn to the text and detailed notes... An extensive bibliography follows...
Sours has provided a presentation that is strickingly beautiful as well as profound in the first section ... He illustrates the Tablet itself using traditional motiffs and rich symbolism;
He follows this section with a background of the Tablet..it's authorship and date;
He then discusses an interpretation of the Tablet;
He then breaks down the symbolism in the Tablet using a helpful chart and showing the background of history and related religious traditions..
Finally, Sours provides a verse by verse analysis.
In publishing this book, Kalimat Press has provided a fine quality addition to the art of book making.
