Update 5 months later: This Tablet is still working perfectly, zero problem, zero lockup, works great and has fantastic battery life.
Ist of all I own Ipad Pro & HP Gaming Laptop, no way should you compare this tablet to those way more costly alternatives. We are talking about device under $200 here and this one more than pleases your appetite at $129. 64gb rom, plenty for most users, the octacore is fast enough to run most game up to mid level graphics and speed. The 3gb of DDR3 ram is good but a bit thin on a system like this, I would have like to have seen 4GB on it. Was easy to add a samsung 128gb Micro SD card, get a fast one like class 10-U3. Then go into settings under storage and combine the SD to internal storage so you can start saving and installing app, pics, video and epub books to the micro SD card when possible. Almost no bloatware on it, only 2 apps I uninstalled was netflix and Youtube music. Since I would not be using it with a sim card or phone, I disabled those features to save space, ram and cpu power. Keep in mind every time you close an App it's still running in the back ground, use the lower right square button to bring up those apps, then use the one button to clear all, simple. The 1080p screen is sharp, colorful and very detailed. The front camera is 13mp but only records at 720p, that's ok but its not full HD. Front camera is 480p, pics and video are just ok on this tablet. Good enough to get by with but not for taking memory type pics or video. I have no intensions to use any of those features any way. Wifi 5ghz is fast and steady, Bluetooth works also. The provided case is nice to protect your screen from damage or cracks, but I will be looking for a case with a stand. It also has the screen protector already installed and its bubble free. It also comes with a wall charger, that use a USB-C cable connected to it, it comes with a USB-C OTG cable also. I was impressed with the very nice sturdy box it was packed in. So far, wife and I are really impressed with it, still fighting who gets a turn on it, may end up having to buy another one.
