I use this bag to tote my personal supplies between ambulance jobs. For this it works PERFECTLY. It's the ideal size. I stock mine with all of the following:

Trauma shears, hemostats, saline lock kit, Broselow tape, CAT tourniquet, battle dressing, SAM splint, a couple of #10 blades, pediatric and infant SPO2 probes, a couple of quick reference handbooks, and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff.

It holds all this with ease. It seems very rugged, and I think it will last some time.

I carry a large EMT bag (oxygen, splints, collars, etc. etc.) but this small red bag goes too with all the stuff that is frequently and quickly needed first: gloves, shears, flashlight, pens, glucose meter, BP cuff, SpO2, stethoscope, etc.
Put labels on the outside (white iron on patches that you can write on with a sharpie) and everyone knows where to find what.
The outside clasp on mine didn't snick closed just right and could pop open; the manufacturer quickly sent a replacement which works well.

Update October 2014: After this mod the pack hangs better and stays put better on a shoulder: At the shoulder strap's adjustment buckle, unstitch the strap end from it's middle; remove the black plastic quick release; thread the strap end thru the top loop at the front left (bag's left, like a pt) corner; re-attach the strap end to the middle of the adjustment buckle. Now the strap goes from one corner/end to the opposite corner/end, you can still adjust strap length, and the pack hangs better. Go ahead and unstitch/remove the female end of the QR too. Use that ear pouch to stuff a few gloves in.

I'm a paramedic with a private ambulance company and I just wanted something to carry everything I needed for a shift which is a small lunch plus water bottles and personal tools (i.e. stethoscope, penlight, shears, gps, etc.). And this bag is perfect. It fits nicely behind my seat in the crew cabin or easily hangs off the head of the captain's chair in the back without occupying too much space. It's about half the size of your average messenger bag. I've had it for a month now and it looks practically new still even though I throw it around in one of the world's dirtiest environments, an ambulance. Buy this if you would like a small, attractive, rugged bag for light load carrying purposes.

Amazon was merely a mediator for the actual site OpticsPlanet. It was delivered a few days past the projected time. It doesn't matter because I'm so satisfied with the product.

As soon as I received it, my wife told me it was a really good looking bag for a first aid kit. She now uses it everyday as her purse.

Positive:
She said it was really useful and incredibly resistant. Big enough to store a Kindle Paperwhite, an agenda in the main pocket and a bunch of other stuff.

Negative:
I had to sew back a piece of velcro that had ripped off after a year of use.
