    This Tadeto Decibel Meter has been both a blessing and a curse in my quest to monitor noise levels... I get bunch of complaints as an audio engineer with my mix being too loud..

    Anyways, its easy, its stupid, and it works! It measures the level not perfectly, but its good enoguh to get a general sense of the reading of the room. If you want something ACTUALLY accureate you would get a measurement microphone and use an actual software.. But this works for what it is, the battery lasts actually quite long. I have been using it for a month now, and I am still using the ORIGINAL batteries... so for what it is its worth it.

    It looks like that nowadays phones have pretty accurate measurement for dBs. The meter's reading is very close to what my phone says (Both iPhone and Android are accurate). Compared to phones, it cannot get the frequency spectrum, and the measurement below 30 dB. But it tells me that our phones are accurate enough (even for me being a music student studying acoustics).

    I tried a few apps on my phone and quickly discovered that my pixel 6 wouldn't ever read more than 90 decibels

    I used this meter with my grand piano - with the lid closed, half closed and fully open - and all the readings were in line with what I read they should be - about 80-90db closed and 90-115 with it open - playing at moderate levels

    Based on that I am relatively confident this device gives credible readings and would recommend it

    It also comes in a nice case which doesn't take up much room and makes it easy to store the device safely

    Not surprised that it has loads of good reviews

    Ich habe den db Messer zuhause, an einer Straße und an meinem Motorrad getestet.
    Laut der durchschnittlichen Tabelle von Lautstärken, die man im Netz finden kann, sind die Messwerte ziemlich zutreffend und glaubhaft. Mein Motorrad ist mit 95 db eingetragen und blubbert laut meinem Messgerät mit 92 db vor sich hin. Das entspricht dem angegebenen Wert vom Hersteller der Abgasanlage.
    Für einen groben Richtungsschuss und für den Preis sehr zu empfehlen.
