So cute, BUT...

I really searched long and hard for an organic stuffed animal that I could buy for my son. I was thrilled when I found this puppy. It is adorable; however, when we opened it, it was marked "made in china" and "surface clean only". If I had know either of these things before purchasing the puppy, I would not have bought it. If I am buying a stuffed animal for my son, it has to be able to go in the washing machine. We weren't returning it, so I decided to give it the washing machine test anyway, because he wasn't going to chew and suck on it without me being able to wash it. I washed it on delicate cycle in a delicates bag. It was a failure. Sadly, it did not wash well. The stuffing is all out of sorts which is why it is probably "surface clean only". I rated this two stars because I feel that stuffed animals that will be played with, carried around, dropped, hugged while sick, etc. should be able to be properly washed. I hope this review helps you when you decide if this is the right stuffed animal for you.

This is my son's car toy, we take it everytime we go somewhere. I feel safe knowing that it is organic (safe for him to chew/suck on) and also soft (in case we were ever in an accident.) I thought it was expensive for a stuffed animal but it is bigger than I expected and a good size for him to hold on to by himself. I love the colors - VERY CUTE!! I would buy again!

We bought the first Taggie when my daughter was about six months old at a high end all natural baby store. Since then we have bought three more! We have learned to wash them in a tube sock.

We purchased this for our 4 month old grandson, as we wanted a non toxic toy for him to grasp and chew on. He loves this and seems comforted by it. It washed up nicely, was not put in the dryer,was allowed to air dry. Pricey, but my grandson is worth it.

While the taggies dog is cute, it looks much better in photos than in person. Was not very soft and my son who loves stuffed animals has shown no interest in it. Love our other taggies but this was a waste of money.

My son loves this puppy, but as the previous rater stated: YOU CAN'T WASH IT! After a wash it is all crumbled up on the inside. And why would you get a toy for an infant, that you can't wash. Specially for that price! I would have loved to give it 5 starts, but that was just a let down!

Different From Picture

This is confusing because one picture shows a white dog that sits upright with white ears, while the other shows the actual item - a white floppy dog with green ears, tail and paws and tags sewn on. I was looking for the Taggies dog bc my son already has one, which he LOVES, and we were afraid he would lose it and it would be the end of the world. So we got this one as backup. Great toy! Super soft and cozy!

Perfect little shower gift

The theme for the baby shower was "Little Cowboy", this fit the bill perfectly. It is cute for a little "cowboy" or "cowgirl" because of the colors. And, as every mother knows, the tag is always the favorite part of the toy.
