You might want to look up "Shibashi 18 Movements" before ordering the book. It is NOT a book on the forms of Tai Chi (24, 48, etc. form) as some have come to expect in Tai Chi books. I like the "Shibashi" form and I liked the book.
I have only been doing Tai Chi for a short time but I am already seeing changes in muscles like the transverse abdominal muscles which help to support the back if they are strong. I would have done Tai Chi years ago if I had known more about it. I am also stunned by the flows of energy that Tai Chi produces in the body when you are doing the 18 movements.
