Ash London is finally content with his life and girlfriend Lila Stephens. Then he is forced back on the road to tour with Ferrium, his band, and one night a decision puts everything at risk. As he begins to spiral down a very dark path, will he open up and tell Lila the truth or will he keep it from her.
When the truth is finally revealed will Lila continue to stick by Ash or will the continual lies and secrets push her away? Will her love be enough to save him?
Wow - this book deals with so much emotion, heartbreak and frustration. I was so frustrated at Ash for almost the entire book as he was willing to risk everything he had and lose it all. Yet, in order to get better he had to which must be so hard for anyone knowing someone going through this. Lila was there for him all she could be, but she had to draw the line somewhere and she really put up with a lot.
The love the two had was so intense through the whole book but Lila knew that it wasn't going to work while Ash denied his issues. She had enough to recover from herself, never mind dealing wiht his problems as well.
This was an incredible book but so hard on the heart! I truly loved this series and I can't wait to read more from this author!
Well, I asked for more emotion in the last book and boy did I get it! This book gripped me flooding my stomach with a deep ache from the first word. I didn't really shake loose until the very end and by then I was weeping. This time around I laughed big belly laughs, and sobbed quietly into my pillow so my husband would not wake, and worst of all...I stayed up until 2 AM unable to put it down and had to get up at 645 for work in the morning! Big Coffee Day! I am so glad that I kept going with the series. This amazing book will stay close to my heart for a long while.
and wow some of the book made me semi cry due to the struggles of the main characters and the things they did to stay afloat .
this can be a healing type book for any one who has been assaulted i say this due to Amazon and their weird ways in posting reviews and for anyone who has an addiction that can hurt families or may lose your own life due to the fact that sadly i have has people i knew who was an addict to a degree and known someone who has been assaulted in the way of what is mentioned in this book . this book if you are not able to cope with what this may entail may not be for you . but i do encourage anyone to read this there is a love story , yes tragic things that do occur but you wont be upset that you read this . i'm glad i did and wish so much that the author may do a spin on the book to maybe include the next generation i say this but not giving out why i say this lol to find out why well you must read the book to find out .
Even so I am not the biggest fan of the book, it felt like some of the dialouge in the book is forced and unnatural. Also I have the feeling that the author sometimes wanted it to be funny but I couldnt see the funny thing with it so it looses their.
This book connects the beginning of the first book which I find is good otherwise I would be very disapointed. The story flows well, a bit slow but nothing I can complain about.
This is the perfect ending to the story but I still dont reaally see the point of making two books like this. they could both be shortened and made into one book without loosing anything in it when it comes to story. So that is why I cant give the book full marks. This book is better than the first one, even if you need to read the first one to understand this one.

Loved these two books! So nice that the plot didn't have the typical relationship problems (such as infidelity). Refreshing to read a different story line. Great duet! Read morePublished 5 months ago by elizabeth a. booth
So I cried a lot more through this one than I did the first one. Ash and Lila definitely have been through the ringer. Still loved the ending.Published 5 months ago by wintershade1
