But the final betrayal comes when she discovers he left her an unexpected gift, their son! She decides she can handle raising her child with the support of her adoptive parents. Peyton is not however ready for the blow that brings her to her knees.

Her beautiful baby boy is stolen from her! After seven years of searching and never giving up hope, she finally finds him, but she also finds the man that betrayed her and left without looking back! Coincidence or fate intervening?

With a heavy heart he left and never returned, but his heart remained behind with Peyton. When his twin tells him that he met a new woman in town named Peyton Harrison, Gabe knew it was time to face his past. His involvement with a special drug enforcement unit puts a damper on winning Peyton back due to the danger invading their small community. Can he convince her to accept him and his twin that they are meant to be together? Or is it too late and she cannot forgive him.

The storyline is intriguing, the characters are fully developed, and not once did I want to put this book down. It’s not very often that a story captures my full attention, but Take Me, did just that. The twists and turns in this story will have you on the edge of your seat.

Peyton and Gabe have a complicated history and when they meet up again, it only becomes more complex. It turns out that both Peyton and Gabe have some secrets that need to come forward. Peyton finds out Gabe has a twin brother, one who he shares women with, and Gabe finds out that their one night together, seven years ago, produced a son.

There is so much emotion to this story that it will take you by surprise. I felt what the characters were going through. Abandonment, failure, uselessness…just some of the gripping emotions going on.

“What about forgiveness? Can it always be worked out? Because some days it feels possible, and sometimes it feels like a mountain I just don’t have the strength to climb.”

But then you also have moments where the characters are filled with passion, heat, and most importantly, an overwhelming love that people would do anything for.

Peyton is some instances is very lucky. It doesn’t seem that way in the beginning, because all the heartache and grief she’s had to endure, but when Sam and Gabe step up and decide that she is theirs….well, like I said she is one lucky lady.

If I had the option of giving this book more than five stars, I would. Take Me is definitely a recommended read and is one of the top reads I have read this year! This is one book I will be re-reading many times over.

I guess I should have realized from the description where this story might be headed, but after reading the first two books, I just skimmed over the description and went right into reading certain I would love the book. To be honest, I did actually love the book despite the fact that the twins' family has a history of sort of psychiatry linked twins who share a bride because they share a bond making it hard for them to separate themselves from the other's feelings. Sounds weird, but it really did work in the story. Without that really tight bond, I'm not sure I would have been able to manage the idea of sharing. As it was though, it seemed right. Each of the brothers met specific needs for each other and for Peyton. The characters in this book were great and are really what hooked me in. The story had plenty of suspense and action and was a nice addition to this great series.

Some may only focus on the ménage aspect, but this book is a nail-biting suspenseful, emotional roller coaster ride that made me cry, laugh and make me want to punch the bad guy too. It's fast paced but a smooth read.

I enjoyed that the heroine, Peyton, is independent and strong-willed and not the usual damsel in distress, someone save me. She's a take charge kind of woman.

Gabe and Sam are two parts of a whole. They're independent but also move seamlessly together. And they're doctors and bears. Hello.

I was fortunate enough to read Take Me ahead of time in exchange for my honest option. I honestly love this story!

I stumbled upon Ella Sheridan’s books a few months back. I purchased book 1 in The Southern Nights and was hooked! Man, what a fabulous writer! Solid plots, easy flowing dialogue between the characters and really yummy alpha males! That right there is the recipe for an awesome romance novel!

I’m not sure there is anything worse in the world, than the loss of a child. Except maybe losing a child and never knowing what happened to them. Peyton Harrison has never given up hope in finding her baby boy Micah. He was taken so cruelly from her 6 years before by someone she knew and trusted. After getting a lead on where her son is, she puts in motion a plan to get him back. Her journey lands her in the town of Claywater, and back into the arms of the man who broke her heart years before, Gabe Harrison. Gabe thought he was doing the noble thing by leaving Peyton in the middle of the night after their first and only intimate encounter. He was older than her and wanted things that he thought a 17 year old Peyton wouldn’t be able to handle. He wanted to share his lady with his twin brother, Sam. Little did he know that he was also leaving behind an unborn son.

As a mom myself, I could so clearly feel Peyton’s grief over her sons kidnapping. At times my breath would catch because I would put my sons face in place of Micah's. The anguish that Ms. Sheridan wrote was palpable. It’s the never knowing that’s killed Peyton a little more everyday. Never knowing if her boy was alive or dead. I can imagine, but hope to never know those emotions that were laid out in a such a realistic way.

I really liked Peyton. She was completely broken but refused to give up hope. She always managed to pull up her big girl panties and get stuff done.
