Take My Breath Away is an excellent continuation of the Silver Foxes Romance series.
I ended up loving both of these guys.
Their interactions and proximity gain each of them things they didn’t expect, emotionally and physically. The give and take are beautiful to watch, as is the slow and steady shift into romance and passion.
I love the way they tiptoe around each other—neither willing to mess up the friendship they are building. But the slow burn is worth the wait, and the sexy times are well done. Mmmmm
I didn’t think of the substantial age gap until it was mentioned. These characters make it a non-issue.
They both bring a lot to the relationship. They had to learn to trust themselves, though.
The conflict near the end was hard to read. OMG, I cried and cried. I hurt for Perry and James. I honestly didn’t see how they would get through that awful time. I was rooting for them from the first, and to see them suffer so horribly was painful to watch. They made it through, though. They are very different personalities, but they mesh well together, forming a connection that gives me confidence in their HEA.
I look forward to more from this author.
**I enjoyed seeing characters from previous books. Mostly. One character I wanted to slap upside the head and tell him to shut up and go home.
