From the Author
After one really bad day fly fishing on the Bighorn River below Yellowtail Dam in Montana, I wrote this poem. The next trip, I got the nerve to read it to my fishing friends, and they were rolling. They all thought I was reading their minds.
About the Author
Milt Mays won the Paul Gillette Writers Award in 2011. He grew up in Colorado, began his fly fishing with a spinning rod, flicking a fly on mono in a small mountain stream in South Park. After a long hiatus at the Naval Academy, and medical school, he finally started with a real fly rod, fly line, and feather and fur flies he made while stationed in Edzell, Scotland.

My husband LOVED the book as well, he was surprised I could find something that was so well suited to him and his experiences in one of his favorite hobbies- Fly Fishing!
I would highly recommend this book to others! We leave ours out on the coffee table, creates a giggle when we walk by! THANKS to the author and illustrator for creating such a fun book!
