2009 reissue of this AOR project led by musicians/songwriters Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg, who would later find fame as a very successful writing team throughout the '80s and '90s. Originally released in 1983 and produced to pin-point perfection by Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner etc), together with Toto guitarist Steve Lukather, the tracks display a healthy appetite for the kind of super glossy hi-tech sound employed by Toto, Steely Dan and Journey. However, it's Steinberg and Kelly's songs that provide the bulk of the cake - songs later covered by the likes of REO Speedwagon, Honeymoon Suite and Heart ('Alone' was a #1 hit). Rock Candy.

Top Customer Reviews
The title track and "I Don't Wanna Loose You" are cracking rock songs, featuring strong melody with an upfront mix of Keyboard and Guitar interplay. Conversely, "I've Been Crying" and the legandary "Alone" are killer ballads, highlighting Tom Kelly's emotive voice. Elsewhere, "Lonely In Each Others Arms" is a poignant, sparse song, based on a simple synth hook and haunting vocals, whilst "Quicksand" is a consummate slice of quirky pop-rock. Production, as you would expect from probably the best in the business, is crystal clear throughout, complementing the flawless musicianship.
Even though Steinberg and Kelly have since found their fortune composing for mainstream artists, this release remains unknown outside of the AOR community. Will we ever see the likes again? Timeless!!!
