About the Author
Chad is an author, dreamer, and perpetual vagabond. His writing over the years has ranged from the close observance of human behavior, to fantastic tales inspired by his adventures around the world. Growing up homeschooled, in a house with six siblings, energized his desire to tell stories to the young and young-at-heart. His fantasy series, “Tales of Terrezial,” is his most recent endeavor. The story is about two brothers, Adam and Avery, starting on a great adventure fulfilling a long forgotten prophecy and the friends and foes they meet along the way. The chapters are sometimes from Adams perspective, or Averys, or the other main characters of the story and this made me feel connected to all the characters in the book. This method of telling the story accomplished character development for all the main characters, which I feel adds to the depth of the story and my interest in it.
I would highly recommend "A Tale of Two Brothers (Tales of Terrezial)" and cannot wait for book two in the series. Chad R. Mitchell is an author to watch and I will anxiously be watching for anything and everything that he publishes!
Finally,I must confess, being a book lover I purchased not only the Kindle version so I could have it faster but then also got a print copy so I could have one of the first ones published for future value!
A Tale of Two Brothers (Tales of Terrezial)
From the rainskates to the Salmarion, I loved the creativity of the creatures in this story. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy Adam and Avery, or Carleia and Jace. But the desert world, the enchanted ship, and the beasts roaming about showcase Mitchell's storytelling ability.
This book is a promising beginning to what I gather is to be a series. I cannot wait to see what Adam and Avery battle next!
The fantasy of the book was not way out there, it was believable, just like other fantasy books of today.
It was such a fun book to read and really looking forward to see what happens to everyone.
