Braith and Addolgar are so silly with each other, that's it's adorable. Addolgar especially. I really understand why they call him Addolgar the Cheerful after reading this book, because before I had no idea why since he's always seemed really "warrior mode only" in the other books. And I finally got to actually read something with Braith talking or even in the scene, since you hardly see her in the other books. So it was nice, I really liked it.
My favorite part of the book was the part in the throne room after Braith's father did "something" (trying not to spoil anything). Because of Ghleanna and Berckalek. Those two together are hilarious! Also, I really liked the epilogue because you get a little teaser of Èibhear's story.
I would definitely recommend this book to people, 5 stars.
So. Braith and Addolgar. She's a little tongue-tied around him and he's a little clueless around her. He's also INSANELY impressed by her fighting skills. Except, it's more innate ability than anything taught. Which, honestly, impresses him even more. Because dragons like their ladies feisty and Braith is plenty feisty once she gets over her tongue-tied shyness around Addolgar.
We get to see more of the various members of the Cadwaldr clan (Heh. Those guys!) with an added bonus of a clan of seriously badass lady warriors.
This whole series is working for me. I am SO IN!

The book will have you laughing out loud, so careful where you read it or you might draw too much attention or get thrown out, and if this is your first Dragon Kin book you will fall in love with the characters and want to start reading the entire series! If you're already a fan, get this book you won't want to miss this one.
Can't wait for the next one, this was just a tease...now I want more!
These dragons are tough this is a quote from the book ”Strong and smart like their mum and able to take a good, solid head-butt like their da.” I enjoyed every minute of the book. I hope to read many more from this writer.

This was a very good story. I liked that the hero, Addolgar, is the son of Ailean & Shalin, the MCs from Can't get Enough from Everlasting Bad Boys (Dragon Kin...Read more
