She hasn't been interested in screen time, or anything else since it arrived really. All she wants to do is sit and read this book, she's had it for 4 days and is nearly done with it. awesome is all i can say. i mean it was so well written i couldn't stop reading it. the plot was just so good and some of the the blindsides in the book were just so surprising i had to reread the page just to make sure i read it right. all and all it was just so good i even think it was better than some of the land of stories books. i hope other people will read this.and think it was as good the other book maybe even better please mr.colfer keep righting as good as you have been.

My 13 year old daughter is pretty picky about books, so I'm always excited when I can find a series she'll get interested in. She flew through the first book in this series and quickly asked for the others.

My wife and I flipped through this and all in all, it was pretty straight forward for this age range. I fee like my daughter is well aware of what sex is and she is more than mature enough to handle this book and the rest of the series.

I would recommend these books to others parents with kids in the same age range. Especially if they're 13 and up, there shouldn't be anything here they aren't ready to handle.

Chris is an excellent story teller and makes hard issues easy to talk about. Inspiring stories lines and so well told! We love the underlying theme of love and hope in every book. It's never about killing the other side, it's about finding peace and coexistence. We can't wait for the next book!!!!!!

Brystal really is a heroine of hope even tho she goes thru alot of stuff to figure it out.
I can only say I'm sure book 3 will be just as awesome.

Great book to read! I loved the plot and the excitement brought to the reader during the story. It was also so interesting to learn about the witchcraft! The use of death and the story was SO deep, and I loved how it was incorparated into the plot! I also loved the small reference to the Land Of Stories- it was my favourite part. I don't know how Chris Colfer does it! Definitely read this book- crossing my fingers for another sequel!!!!
