This takes the idea of a guardian angel to a different level. This book was not what I expected. I liked the way it was told as different stories, but eventually intertwining. I always love reading books like that. It always excites me when I recognize a person or place from a previous story. I especially liked the one where Michael returns to the family he hasn’t seen for so long. I couldn’t help but feel his joy, as well as his pain.
At first this book was a little hard to grasp. It was hard to follow how everything fit together. And getting into each of the different stories was hard to get into at first too. However once you got into them they were very interesting and it was easy to keep reading through the book. Michael is a very complex character and all the people he saved were complex too so it was easy to relate and to like them. At first I thought this book wasn’t going to be very interesting but as I got into it was very good and a book you need to read.
