About the Author
C.S. WILSON is a life-long writer and horse-lover. For nine seasons, she indulged her love of horses by working as a wrangler in the Rocky Mountains. Tales from the Trail is her first book. She and her husband, also a writer, have adopted two BLM mustangs and are currently training them to be trail horses. They live with their small menagerie in northern Colorado, with her grown children nearby.

For those that like family time, this is a perfect book for the read aloud parent. If you are one who enjoys reading to your young children it is a must have book. Their imaginations will grow as you move deeper into this book. They too will feel they are right there taking a trail ride to parts of the country they may never get to see. They will learn to love and understand horses.
This is a book I hope to pass on to my young granddaughter. It is also a book I wish I had in my hands when she was small enough I needed to read to her. The style makes it so you can read a chapter, then stop. When you pick it back up they don't have to remember what you read to them last week. Each chapter is a new adventure as you move through the life of a wrangler.
I strongly suggest you add this book to your collection. Even those who thought they had no interest in life as a cowgirl, will truly enjoy the tales in this book.
