It does a great job of cleansing your scalp and eliminating "dirty hair smell" without leaving residue or drying your hair out. I absolutely love this product and have already recommended it to my friends. I purchased it because I have box braids and didn’t want to wash my hair with regular shampoo because I didn’t want to run the risk of my hair not properly drying. If you have braids, locs or any type of style you don’t want to disturb but your scalp is begging to be cleaned, get this shampoo gel. You won’t be sorry!

Bottle is small, but it is more than enough product. Leaves scalp clean and feeling minty fresh. Rinsing out is not necessary and I was pleased that there is no residue. Instead of applying directly to my scalp between braids, I found squeezing a small amount into my fingers and then applying it to my scalp targeted the area better and wasted less product. This product is good in that you don’t have to rinse it out so it doesn’t make your protective style frizzy.

I used this to cleanse my scalp while I had Senegalese twists installed. I just applied it to scalp in sections, massaged it in to loosen the dirt and oils, then wiped clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry. My scalp was clean and it did not dry my skin or hair. Left a refreshing tingle, also.
