I've used this about 5 times now, and it does what it's supposed to, it shields your pie crust, but the notch you use to lock it into place is worn already. I like that it adjusts, withstands high hear, and washes up nicely, but if I feel if I do much more baking with it, the locking notch will give out.

This works great, except it falls off because it’s not big enough. This is a 9” plate, but the outer edge is 11-1/2” diameter - the exact size of the crust protector. Because of this I couldn’t secure it, so when I pulled the rack forward to check it, it came off. We couldn’t get it back on so had to quickly get some foil together. I think next time I’ll try to secure it with so e tightly wrapped foil on the edge. Other than that, it worked great.
