She thought she was going crazy, one step away from the loony bin, until she realized that there was no way she could fabricate another person inside her mind that knew how to do things that she couldn't and speak languages she had never learnt.
When there's a sweet, kind man learning all of your deepest darkest secrets and only offering kind words of comfort in return, how can you stop from falling in love?
It could be real or it could just be all in my head.
This book is funny and heart melting! I experienced so much second hand embarrassment from Avery and Mason's situation while reading this book. Some may say that the ending wasn't good enough, but it was perfect to me. I can't wait to read book two!
I couldn't stop thinking about this story, I tried to read everywhere I could, all I wanted was MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!!! JUST GIVE ME MORE and let me be happy with these characters. I got a little surprised by the end of this book and I enjoyed it a lot, and I know I there is so much more I can learn from them. I need to read the sequel, because Marcus and Avery's journey is not over and dare I say that it just started and I want to go along with them.
"You’re my little Tiger Lily."
I didn't like that Avery didn't stand up for herself but by the end I understood why she felt like she couldn't do it.
5 ADORABLE, ROMANTIC, CUTE, AMAZING STARS!!!!!!

4 YOU- CAN'T-JUST-END-IT-THERE STARS!!
I was totally engrossed with this book. I finished it in under 3 hours. Those 3 hours are definitely worth it.
The premise has a movie like quality to it. I kinda know what will happen in the end, but I held on because reading it all throughout is satisfying.
Imagine someone being inside your head 24/7. Imagine liking the person and feeling so frustrated because you don't even know whether he's real or not. That's Avery's life here. Marcus enters her head, guns blazing... or should I say sweetness blazing. I swear he's just a total charmer! Ave didn't stand a chance! However, attractions aside, they both had to cope with a lot of things. They go through trials and become sort of together.
I love all of their interactions. They're hilarious! Marcus could be all alpha male and throw punches for Avery, then Avery could be like I-don't-like-you-but-really-i-do-i-do.
Then there are the other characters. I guess I'm not crazy about Avery's friends. Her interactions with them mostly felt forced. I just like Jazz and Jen and Jen wasn't even part of the circle.
Anyway, when the ending came, I was shocked that it felt incomplete. It was too fast! I want to see their first true meeting as a couple. I want to see what they'll do after this magical event. I also want to know what happened to her friends.
On that note, I leave this with my 4 star rating!
I loved this book so much! I'm actually kind of surprised. I loved watching their relationship develop and how they dealt with it. There were several times when I was super frustrated with Avery, but that's probably because I would have been just as upset and frustrated as she was. Marcus was totally amazing and perfect. I loved him as the hero of the book. I really appreciated the scenes the author included in the book where Marcus lived some of Avery's terrible experiences. It was nice to watch Marcus be protective and horrified by the behavior of the other men in Avery's life. I also liked those scenes because it made Avery very relatable and understandable as a character.
I only gave the book four stars because I felt like it left some issues unresolved. I wish it had a little epilogue or a sequel to see how Avery dealt with some of the issues with her friends. I would also love to see Avery and Marcus together as a real couple and not just conversations inside her head.
There is language in this book, but there is no actual sex. Although they do talk about it quite a bit.
The story of Avery, who wakes up from a knock on the head to find that there's a guy named Marcus also residing inside her head. They converse, form a relationship and it's all just so interesting. There really is much more to the story, though, as Avery has a very real boy that she likes, roommates to deal with and some underlying issues to confront.
This was a fantastic read that ended for me much too soon. Highly recommended.
