About the Author

Ben Moses is a producer/writer/director, educator and life-long seeker of knowledge and understanding, currently living in Los Angeles. Ben has fed his soul by producing and directing a string of Emmy-award winning documentaries, delivering though-provoking and emotionally gripping programming on subjects ranging from hunger in America to euthanasia. His feature film career includes producing/directing several motion pictures and creating/co-producing the Robin Williams megahit Good Morning, Vietnam. Lifelong fascination with the faith healings he witnessed during his Pentecostal upbringing led him to study and explore disciplines ranging from quantum physics to parapsychology to religion and spirituality.

This book blends together the idea of quantum physics - that, at any moment, the prognosis for an illness or an injury could be serious or minor, and it is at least partly our decision that influences the outcome, just as Schroedinger's cat is simultaneously alive AND dead inside the box. Add in that faith healing is, in fact, "a thing," however irregular and not always permanent. Also that most of the time our bodies function autonomously, much like the Enterprise, but sometimes when things go wrong, it puts heart in the crew to have the Captain show up, listen to any grievances, and express his appreciation for all the crew's hard work.

"What we believe - know - about ourselves and about the world is, for all intents and purposes, true. Because even if it's not, we will act as though it is, and that's the experience we're going to have. All other possibilities will be blocked or ignored."

It's funny, it's full of interesting anecdotes, and it just may be something that can improve our health. I know I'm going to trying the suggested meditations and conversations with "troublesome" body parts, because why not?
