"Solid romantic suspense with strong characters and surprising plot twists."
Tall, Dark and Damaged kept me up wayyyy past my bedtime, and that was after I found myself so absorbed that I barely noticed horrible turbulence that left other passengers shaken during a particularly bad flight. I had to find out what would happen, and the surprises at the end were well worth my perseverance. Smart Bitches, Trashy Books
"Get comfortable and be prepared to stay up all night, once you start reading TALL, DARK & DAMAGED." Susan Breeden
"...Although the build-up pretty much had me rocking back and forth in the fetal position, the ending was fantasmically awesome! It really plays out like a movie, with every scene described in such vivid detail that you could really picture everything playing out with absolute clarity. Another unique feather of this ending is that although it ends happily, it in no way ends perfectly."

The plot of Tall, Dark and Damaged is amazing. So many twists and turns and a spectacular ending. I would never believe anyone who told me they saw this ending coming--and yet it makes perfect sense AND it makes you happy! How does that even happen with such a thick, juicy plot??" First there is the return of the exiled son, Devon Ashby. He never managed to live up to his father’s expectations and when the strain became to much to bear, he left.
But not without consequence.
Hannah Moore loved Devon with every inch of her teenage soul. He was her first lover and she thought, the last. But when faced with an impossible decision of family or boyfriend, Hannah gets left behind.
Years later they are thrust together again and must face many of the same issues that once drove them apart, corruption, hatred, murder.
Will they learn from their mistakes, or are they fated to damage each others hearts once more?
This story will have you believing in a forever kind of love:)
I give Tall, Dark, and Damaged 5 lovely kisses

Devon, a successful entrepreneur, is facing his worst nightmare... returning to his Father's home. In the twelve years that Devon has been gone, he has proven himself a successful business man, creating his own company and developing properties. Not only has he managed to acquire an impressive boardroom reputation he has also gained a well-to-do fiance, one who holds the same values and business ideals that he has. But, returning to his Father's house stirs up the ghosts of his past, ones that he had worked so hard to forget and push aside.
Hoping to extend "an olive branch" to his Father as he comes home to sign papers in order to receive his trust fund, he is quick to realize this trip isn't going to go as planned. All of things that Devon has worked so hard for in the past twelve years, seem to crumble right before his eyes. And the harder he fights, the faster it falls. The only saving grace... Hannah, his high school love who continues to pop up at unexpected times, and the unexplained pull that Devon still feels to her.
An incredibly book by Sarah Andre, one I wish had a squeal, has captured my heart. I loved the mystery of the events as we find a murder has been committed, a past love sparking and begging to be rekindled, and a whole host of characters that seem to have something to hide. Not to mention the amazing twist Devon is a fantastic main character, a "tall, dark, and damaged" guy who any girl would fall in love with. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't root for him and the true love of his life... and the life he should have.
I highly recommend this book! Due to some graphic sexual content and strong language, I believe this book is suited for a mature audience.
I can't wait to read more from Sarah Andre.
Raw emotions and sexual heat run equally high between Devon and Hannah – former high school sweethearts whose relationship had suffered a devastating blow. I especially enjoyed finding out how they could possibly overcome the mutual wounds from their past while navigating such dangerous plot twists and turns. I highly recommend.
When Devon Ashby returns to his family home after a 12-year absence, he imagines it will be a short trip. He will come home, sign for the trust his mother had set up for him then return to his fairy tale life in NY. In New York, he has his socialite fiancé and the business he built from the ground up with his cousin.
Upon his return, things do not go as planned. He is forced to deal with his heartless father, a sister that is, to put it nicely, incredibly unstable, and running into, Hannah, the woman he left behind. Around every corner, there are twists and turns. Just when Devon thinks he has things figured out he stumbles across yet another roadblock.
Hannah, who is working for Devon’s father following a fire in the Wickham home, also faces countless roadblocks. She has to deal with the personal demands of Mr. Wickham regarding his art and her rekindled feelings for Devon following their reunion.
Andre puts all of the characters through numerous trials and tribulations. Just when you think you know what will happen, a surprising twist occurs. I could not put this book down. I wanted to know who was responsible for the death of Devon’s mother and who was responsible for the troubles with his business. I wanted to know if the love between Devon and Hannah would survive all of the damage, heartache, and betrayals. I could not put the book down until I knew whether Devon would pick money and success over his family or the love of his life. This is truly and incredible romantic thrilled that will keep you hooked. I only wish there was a continuation so I could find out what happened to Devon, Hannah, and even Mr. Wickham.
