Nathaniel Smith MA, NCC, LPC-S,is a licensed professional counselor specializing in anger management and domestic violence issues. He has helped hundreds of clients manage their anger issues through his private practice as well as through a program certified by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in which he runs group sessions for offenders with anger issues. Smith is also the author of Taming Your Temper: A Workbook for Individuals, Couples, and Groups.

And because you participate with the process the lessons are better absorbed. Reading this has been a very positive experience.
It's compassionate, easy to navigate and read and step by step helpful. The exercises are so helpful in teaching you to rewire your brain. Honestly -- I was doing better after implementing the first exercise.
I bought three -- one for me, one for my brother and one for a coworker.
You can't buy therapy this good for this cheap. Run, don't walk and pick yourself up and copy and give one to anyone that would like to rid their lives of anger and replace it with joy.

Taming Your Temper is a book intended to not merely be read, but practiced. It is intended as a workbook for individuals, couples and groups.
In this day and age where so many people are hair trigger and ready to explode it is nice to know that there are great tools available such as this workbook. I highly recommend it for individual use and also for couples to work on together.
