What’s in a Tampax tampon?
Tampax tampons are made of primarily cotton and rayon, the same materials that have been safely used in feminine-care products for years. Tampax puts these materials together in unique designs to give you trusted anti-leak protection and comfort.
Are tampons safe to use?
The safety of the women who use our products is the foundation of everything we do. All our ingredients go through rigorous safety evaluations and are reviewed by independent experts including physicians, scientists, and health authorities. These experts have confirmed that our tampons and the materials used to make them can be used safely.
All tampons in the market today, which are FDA regulated as medical devices and held to strict manufacturing guidelines, are associated with a low risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare but serious illness. The best way to manage TSS, no matter whether you use a tampon or another feminine-care product that is inserted into the body, is to be aware of the signs of TSS. If you experience symptoms, remove the product right away and contact your health-care provider. More information on TSS, the signs and what to do if someone experiences these while on their period, can be found on leaflets in our Tampax packs.
Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Read and save the leaflet inside the package. Use for 8 hours maximum. The risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) increases with higher absorbency. In order to reduce your risk of TSS, you should use the lowest absorbency that meets your needs.

I only wish these boxes came in larger quantities.
I am very small framed and only need the lites, but all the stores near me only carry lites in small quantities.
Purchasing these on Amazon saves me considerable money.
These things also helped served another purpose. Stopping nosebleeds. I recently came down with sinusitis (I'm better now) and I would get these nasty nosebleeds. One of them last 1 1/2 hour! I used 3 or more of them for each nosebleed, but it's a hell of a lot less messy than sticking toilet paper or tissue up your nose. Lol
I would definitely buy them again. Granted, I'm gonna experiment with the menstrual cup next period, but if it doesn't work out, I'm coming back to using these.
Would Recommend to a friend? Yes
Conclusion: Excellent choice!
I received this product at FULL PRICE. NO discount has influenced or impacted my judgment of this product. I take this seriously and my opinion and experience is my own, which I share AFTER I have tried the product and given ample time to see results and side effects. I am in no way required by the seller to leave positive remarks about their product. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
