About the Author
Emily Raboteau is a Pushcart Prize–winning author whose fiction and essays have been published in Best American Short Stories, the New York Times, and the New Yorker, among others. Her two books are Searching for Zion and The Professor’s Daughter. Raboteau lives in New York City and teaches creative writing in Harlem at City College.
