My husband committed suicide two years ago. Leaving me with two small kids I thought my life couldn't get worse. Then, I meet Tank, I fought the attraction that I felt for him. Author GM Scherbert was born on a brisk late April morning. She grew up in a small town in the Midwest but, quickly decided that was not the life for her. She quickly moved away for college and thought better of returning to that small town on a long term basis. City living is the life for her.

Her day job working with people on the Autism spectrum keeps her on the go most of the time. That is when her four small daughters and husband are not pulling her in different direction.

Author GM Scherbert is the kind of gal who is quirky, unique, smutty, hard to hate, harder to love. She has taken her love for telling stories to the next level by putting her hat in the romance writing game. If you are interested in romance with twists and some darker themes Author GM Scherbert will be right up your alley.

After seeing how much some of my reading groups loved Tank's Pearl I knew I had to check it out. One-click later I became addicted to Pearls story. I love how strong Pearl was through out the whole book. From raising 2 small children on her own to how she handled in each new situation she was thrown into, such as punching Layla in the face.
Pearl has that special quality were people cant help but love her while she is just being herself. She came across as an amazing person. I loved her right from the beginning.
Now Tank is a completely different story. I really didn't like him and I really tried to. Every time I started liking Tank, he did something stupid and I disliked him all over again. I think one of the main reasons I didn't like him was he always demanded Pearl's respect at all times when he showed over and over again that he didn't respect or believe in her. Every time something happened Tank stuck up for everyone but Pearl. He believed in everyone else but Pearl.
Then the unthinkable happened and once again instead of believing in the women he claimed to love, he walked away thinking the worst. Out of anybody Tank should of know without a doubt that Pearl would never betray him. I think the best thing Tank ever did was leave. He didn't deserve Pearl. I hope in the next book Pearl finds someone who will love and cherish her like she deserves.
I would highly recommend Tank Pearl to any one wants to read an amazing read. I cant wait to see whats next in Pearls story

i loved tanks pearl i couldn't wait to get my greedy little hands on this ;) even though it was an MC book it was very unique and different you dont really find that in this genre you usually get stuck reading the same thing over and over but this was a breath of fresh air :) now lets talk about the characters shall we i loved pearl i swear i have a girl crush on her i thought she had the qualities you look for in a h she wasn't one of those annoying hs were you sometimes want to through your kindle or book accost your room my wall was starting to hate me just alittle bit ;) i also thought it was interesting that she was older then tank and had kids you dont find that in many books and she was the the one that was sorta fighting the attraction but tank was not boy was he not ;) i thought tank was just a hottie patottie i loved his possessiveness and his dirty talk was to point were my kindle was blushing ;) can i just say G.M Scherbert knows how to write some hot scenes were she also brings out emotions were you could actually fell what the characters are going through you want to laugh with them cry them fight for them and get down and dirty for them there was also character growth that blossomed throughout the story and the pacing was at the write speed it wasnt rushed to were your like what the hell just happened and it wasnt slow to were your snoring and drooling and wake up to a kindle print on your forehead now i need book 2 write now im going a little cra cra waiting

I am a huge MC fan and the one did not disappoint!
Pearl and Abraham a.k.a Tank seem to have nothing in common but cannot deny the physical attraction and chemistry that pulls them to each other.
Pearl is intrigued by Tank. He is the strong "young" silent type. They are from two different worlds but Pearl is not looking for commitment. She has been alone since the death of her husband and has led a pretty humdrum life as a teacher while raising her two small girls on her own. Pearl has needs and any young single woman may have. She has an itch to scratch and what the hell a hot, sexy as sin biker may just fit that bill. Pearl is not prepared for the domineering, alpha man to push his way into her world and her heart!
Tank can't explain what he feels when he sees Pearl. He is enthralled with her and a woman has never had this pull over him before. He becomes consumed with her and the need to prove how much she means to him. He realizes that Pearl sees him as fun and hot sex but damn it he will prover her wrong.
The story is certainly not your story book romance but you will enjoy the ride! It is not for the faint of heart Tank is a biker and Pearl is now in his world! The ending is killing me I need to know where this is going!!!!!

I just finished the book and I read a few reviews but then stopped after a bad one. I didn't want to be tainted. This book is hard core as in the sex isn't too ruff but there is a rap that happens and if you are a victim of rap, sexual assault or think you can't handle this - then this is not a book for you.

I found Pearl to be a strong character but like real woman they have a hidden side. She likes to be dominated, I find this no big deal but apparently some do. I liked that she is real, she's not some skinny 20 something with fake everything. She's older, living through life and just trying to make it day by day. She has her kids to worry about and always puts them first.

Tank! Yum I wouldn't have minded a bit more description on him and all his tattoo godliness! I was a little torn on this treatment of Pearl in some scenes but after I kept reading I founded really did have a reason for his lessons and teaching Pearl what she needed to learn. She is just to stubborn she needed to learn things a different way. Words just don't work sometimes.

So over all I found this book really good especially since it's a first book for this author. I can't wait for the next one to come out, because she left us hanging massively for the next book in 2016! B****!!

I liked it but didn't love it, Tank for me was as immature as you can get, he just took and took and took, not once did he ask, as for Pearl doormat comes to mind with wipe your feet on the way out stamped across her head, Blaze on the other hand now wow,
As for the story line it was good very good indeed I liked the older woman younger man notion, but he wasn't just younger in age but immature to the point I felt like slapping him.
The Scene at the dungeon would have been enough for me and it would have been adios, never see you again.
How did she know she was that submissive and for a mother of two young children to go off like that errrrrrrr, no.
I did like the story, but their was no background to Pearl other than her husband killed himself, and she had two daughters that was it.
The cliff hanger how ever saved this book, all though the scene was horrific ( I do hope LAYLA gets hers)Seeing Blaze/Marcus come through like a knight in shining armor has just made me buy the second book or otherwise I would have giving this a miss.
Book 2 coming up now !!!!!!!!!!!!

Tanks Pearl by GM Scherbert a shocking and amazing five star read. This is the first book in the Devils Iron MC story, and it kicks off with a bang. The book come with a warning that it’s not suitable for some readers as it contains graphic violence and extreme sexual situations, and they weren’t kidding. It was hot and hard, but also upsetting in some places, but it was there for a reason and It did make the story.
The story is set and mainly told from Pearls prospective, she is a single mother whose ex-husband killed himself a couple of years ago. She has two wonderful daughters but she doesn’t get to go out much and usually for one weekend a year her and her girlfriends go away for the weekend to party and have girlie fun, only this year they don’t get away they stay local and they are drinking in a local dive bar, that’s where she meets him, Tank. Pearl doesn’t think much of him at first other than he is very hot, but he is also looks 1 years younger than her, and she comes with baggage so figures he won’t want her for more than one night and she isn’t into that. At least not at first.
Tank knows when he first sees her, he wants her and will stop at nothing to have her. He doesn’t care about the age or baggage, he just wants her and not for the one night she thinks he wants her to make her his, to dominate and own. If she can accept his lifestyle he knows she will make the perfect old lady. The only question is will she e able to accept it. Only time will tell.
This was the first GM Scherbert book I have read, and it won’t be the last. I foresee being very tired at work tomorrow as its already after midnight and I must find out what happens in the next book Pearls blaze before I go to sleep, this book had me so hooked I know I won’t be able to put it down

I have been waiting for this book for a little while now and i'm glad to say that the wait was worth it! Tank comes across as someone that is quite an old soul in a young body, albeit a smokin', hot one. He is loyal to his club but really does seem to want to settle down with an old lady of his own and maybe some kids of his own. When he sees Pearl out with her friends, he knows that she is the 'one' for him - all he has to do is make her feel the same way.
The majority of the story is Pearl's 'introduction' into the whole MC/BDSM world, and boy, does it open her eyes!!? Tank is very sweet with her kids and really comes across as someone who cares very deeply for Pearl, even though she doubts herself quite a lot. The time in the Dungeon may be quite hard for some people to enjoy, although I do understand why it was included in the story, but from then on, I just KNEW that the author was winding up for a heck of a cliffhanger!! All I can say is that I don't often actually swear out loud at an author, but I did when IT happened (everyone out there that has read it will know what I mean) - knowing that the next book is called Pearl's Blaze just makes me want to read it more!! Well done to the author, a very enjoyable read.

Ok so enjoyed the story but the lead up to Tank and Pear's romance was short of nothing. Would of liked a bit of a build up but there was none. Anywho some of the dialogue had me smacking my head back and hitting the bedhead as it was a little off weird odd but i realised this was how it was going to be so i kept on. Writing without contractions is just weird unless the character is posh but even then its weird as in "i will not see you tomorrow" against "i wont see you tomorrow" i mean i didnt think people talked like that. Anyway it was a good story but some things annoyed me so i gave it 4 stars.
