Review

'Expertly illustrates the way to true fulfillment.'
Anthony Robbins, Bestselling author of Awaken the Giant Within and Unlimited Power|'Anyone who reads and acts upon The Tap can live a life of wealth, wisdom, kindness, and the pleasure of knowing you've done well―and done good. . . . A terrific book and blessing for you, your children, and anyone you'd like to see become more happy and enriched.'
Bob Burg and John David Mann, Co-authors of The Go-Giver|'McKinney demonstrates that as we do for others, we become all we hope, dream, and dare to be.'
Les Brown, Bestselling author of Live Your Dreams and It's Not Over Until You Win|'I believe a good portion of Frank's success can be attributed to what he does for the less fortunate around the world. The gaining of material wealth means little without responsible stewardship for those blessings. The Tap shows you how to increase your wealth, both in terms of riches and, more important, enrichment.'
Rich DeVos, Co-founder of Amway, owner of the Orlando Magic, and author of Ten Powerful Phrases for Positive People

From the Inside Flap

Discover a Profound Spiritual Practice Leading to Success in the Business of Life.

The Tap shows you how to sensitize yourself to feel then act on your great 'Tap Moments,' embracing the rewards and responsibilities of a blessed life. This book is about accepting the inherent responsibility and gaining the confidence in your ability to handle more, whether it's more wealth, health, happiness, or relationships.

Inspired by the biblical passage, 'from those to whom much is entrusted, much will be expected,' The Tap promises readers that as they attune themselves to this enduring truth, they'll feel God's tap and experience breakthroughs beyond comprehension.

McKinney isn't a preacher or man of the cloth; he's a businessman who's discovered that faithful stewardship is a prerequisite to receiving greater resources. This inspiring yet practical guide is for those who want to succeed at a higher level with the business we're all in: the business of life. It shows how the rewards of enrichment come with astonishing speed and size to those who act on the greater responsibility that comes with greater blessings.
The Tap: Feel it, follow it, and find your highest calling . . .

•      Sensitize yourself to God's call and be prepared for the times when you're most likely to experience Tap Moments.
•      Have confidence to handle the rapid rate of ascent that usually accompanies The Tap.
•      See why you can't really understand or apply such popular ideas as the law of attraction and 'the secret' until you've been tapped.
•      Learn how, in the moment of perceived silence―when it seems as if your prayers won't be answered in the ways you'd hoped―you're invited to something greater than you've ever imagined.

Frank McKinney is a five-time international bestselling author, philanthropist, and extreme risk-taker who's best known for his unprecedented success as a real estate 'artist' and visionary. The world's wealthiest clamor for McKinney's masterpieces, with each multimillion-dollar estate inspired by exotic locales and infused with vivid imagination.

McKinney's gift and passion for extraordinary homes extends to his role as the director of the Caring House Project Foundation, a nonprofit he founded in 1998, that provides a self-sustaining existence for some of the most desperately poor and homeless families around the world. CHPF develops entire communities, complete with homes, medical clinics, orphanages, schools, churches, clean water, and agricultural assets. McKinney lives with his wife, Nilsa, and their daughter, Laura, in Delray Beach, Florida.

Proceeds from book sales go to benefit the good works of Frank McKinney's Caring House Project Foundation.

In a world of greed the Tap comes as a breath of fresh air. McKinney helps those with eyes to see and ears to hear face the reality of what is truly important in this life. Love in action. His devotion to the poor of Haiti is heartwarming and it is clear that Frank McKinney has been blessed to find a true purpose in life and the gift to share this with the world. Having worked with the poor in Jamaica I relate to his experiences and the struggles of those who cannot move forward without the assistance of people like Frank McKinney. I have always known that not all can do what Frank McKinney does but everyone can do something and if everyone did one thing to send love into this world, the world would become a better place. If the Tap does not tap this spirit in humans, I don't know what will. A remarkable journey of love and recognition and self motivation! A must read and a must keep.

When I was first offered the opportunity to review this book, I really didn't have high expectations. I thought it was another motivational book filled with empty promises, all fluff and no substance. I am very happy to say that I was wrong! This book surprised me in a very pleasant and refreshing way. The Tap is the latest book by renowned real estate "rock czar" Frank McKinney. The entire book is built around the scriptural passage Luke 12:48, "To whom much is given, much is required." Yes, it is about success and prosperity, but where this book is different is that it places emphasis on the why, McKinney believes he, and everyone else too, is blessed to be a blessing.

We all have moments when we realize we have it within our power to help someone else, to look beyond ourselves, to make a difference in not only our world, but the world. He calls these moments The Tap. We are all "tapped" by God, to help in certain specific situations. These taps could be for something small and seemingly inconsequential, or they could be for something enormous, but they happen as often as we look for them too. McKinney is very real in sharing his relationship with God, with revealing his successes and with owning up to his mistakes. This is a surprise book for me, and a pleasant one at that!

Of course it's an inspiring book as any who know or have read Frank's other books would expect. What is TRULY motivational in "The Tap" though is how he truly shows the reader how ANYONE.. ANYONE can and should be open to their "Tap Moments" . You do not have to be uber succesful ala Frank McKinney to benefit or even understand the concepts here. It relates to anyone's situation and provides insights many rarely explore when they seek the conventional world's view of "success". The Tap intentionally seeks to be a guide to LIFE success and it succeeds in being just that. Read The Tap and you will have a new view on the potential in YOUR life!

This is definitely a spiritual book. But whatever your belief system ie: God, The Universe, Allah, Higher Power, etc. - this can still fit. If I may paraphrase Frank McKinney to explain, "The Tap" refers to when you are "tapped" on the shoulder, in the mind, or heart to take an action maybe just a little differently than the main stream, or what you might have done otherwise. Frank gives examples of many who have acted boldy, and one might think, "I could never, or would never do THAT!" But he goes on to say that it doesn't just have to be the great and dramatic actions. Each one of us can make the world and our own hearts a little better with what we already have. It could be as simple as wiping soap off the counter in a public restroom for the next person, so the attendant doesn't have to. WOW. Even I can do THAT! Even a child can do THAT! Definite food for thought. But more importantly ACTION.

Most books on success do two things. They focus only on what you get, and they cautiously avoid the notion of God. Frank McKinney has turned it on its head by saying: a rich relationship with God, Love and Life are what success and wealth is about, and focus on what you can give, not what you get. This is no "put a quarter in, and a gumball comes out" philosophy. Life is far more complex than that. When you are "tapped" by God, you don't just do more, you become more.

The Tap is richly written with a clear and meaningful narritive; it is heartfelt and deeply compassionate. It is an excellent read for those who are looking for business motivation, but are turned off my the narcissism of most success literature. Thank you Frank.

Wow, where to begin. I thought I was a fairly decent person until I read 'The Tap' and realized I have missed many, many opportunities in this lifetime to help others and, in doing so, to help myself. This book is like a subtle nudge to your heart and soul that makes you aware of when you are being "tapped" and how wonderful the feeling is when you act on it! It shows me that when a businessman with a track record of accomplishments like Frank McKinney can attribute his success to giving back to those less fortunate, then I can definitely do something in my own smaller way - kind of like a "paying forward" in kindness. I LOVED this book - it is sensitive, inspiring, and motivating. To those in our country who seem to condemn capitalism and suggest it's bad, I say to them that it is refreshing to see just how much "good" can come out of it when it is used correctly. Thanks, Frank, for this wonderful book - I shall be referring to it often when I need a gentle reminder.
