Thanks to Tapping I can now swim!
on May 6, 2012
Having been a swimmer when I was younger, I had two bad experiences where I nearly drowned at age 12 and 15. For the rest of my life I was not able to go back into the water. In fact if I were to speak to you about swimming I would start to get a physcial reaction where my head would start to rise as if I was trying to prevent myself from going under in an imaginary pool.
It was debilitating, as I was missing out on having fun with my friends when I travelled as they were enjoying the pool or the ocean, and I was sitting there watching them. Plus I didn't like this feeling of disempowerment.
Well, all that changed on a hot night in June 2010. It was the last night of Jack Canfield's inaugural Train the Trainer program, where I was a participant. There I was watching my fellow attendees enjoy the spectacular pool at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess while I had been standing on the sideline.
A friend did eventually coax me into the pool somehow, but I couldn't get into the water past my hips as I was feeling extremely anxious. Jack heard about this and came over to see if he could help me.
Then a seemingly impossible miracle happened. Within minutes of Jack using the tapping method on me I not only went deeper into the water, but was soon swimming around, including floating on my back unaided. Something that I had figured would never happen again. I have since been swimming and no longer have any hesitation or fear.
I have gone on to use tapping to remove other blocks in my life, and consider it an important tool for my continued success.
Whatever might be stopping you from having the success you want in life, whether it be personal, business, finances, relationships etc, you owe it to yourself and those around you to invest in this book, and then use it like I did.
