About the Author
Robin Bilazarian, LCSW, DCSW, DCEP’s passion, exemplified in Tapping the Mighty Mind, is to bring helpful psychological knowledge into right your home. She is a brief therapy expert, works with staff in a regional trauma hospital, in private practice and presents nationally; who wants to share these quick methods with everyone. She accomplishes this by explaining standard and cutting-edge self-management skills to conquer stress, conflict & pain. These life-changing skills are needed in everyone’s coping toolbox to liberate unproductive thinking and create happiness.
Well qualified to do this, she has many credentials including Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, and Diplomate in Clinical Energy Psychology. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Social Work and trained at Duke Medical Center with thirty-five years’ experience counseling all aspects of mental health and Employee Assistance Programs. Duke preached KISS -"Keep it Simple" a lesson she embodies making the complex simple and easily understood, as you will see.
She conquered her own generalized anxiety with the techniques in this book. She even overcame her profound public speaking phobia, and now lectures nationally on stress management, communication & pain for professional, business, and personal growth.
As a brief therapy expert, she specializes in the treatment of anxiety, stress, crisis intervention, phobias, grief, pain, communication problems, anger, and depression; treating these individually and through frequent national training workshops.
Bilazarian is married and the proud mother of two brilliant adult children, lovely in-laws and a comical rescued chocolate lab.

I’d like to add that the book is useful not only for clinicians, but also for anyone who wants to relieve stress and feel better quickly. As Robin points out, if problems can be resolved quickly, we are then able to re-enter our lives with energy and clarity. I will recommend the book to my clients!
