I saw a couple comments on how to clean it, “Wash it with boiling water” “use q tips” but because the tar is nasty, gets everywhere and is a hassle. Get a ziplock bag or some leak proof container you only need a tiny bit of table salt in the container (the table salt is simply just a tiny abrasive to get all the nooks and crannys), the more you put in the more you’re wasting! And fill it up again very sparingly with rubbing alcohol because you won’t need much at all. Then shake it up turn you’re red in the face! You’ll see the alcohol turn brown and once you can’t shake anymore take both pieces out rinse them with hot water from your faucet, make sure there’s not salt lurking inside, and now the last step! If you put it together and draw you’ll get a lung full of alcohol gasses, all you have to do is rinse it in cold water just as you did with the hot water.
It’s a great product keeps smoke out of my face when I’m drawing or gaming etc. I like being able to bite down on it to make it feel secure in my mouth. 5/5 stars can’t get better than this! On and also if you’re have problems getting your cigarettes into your TarGuard just go to the very end of the filter and lightly rotate the end mishaping it a little so it’s small then insert into the TarGuard while using a twisting motion.
