They sent me a jar that was already open. This could not have happened during shipping because the jar was packed in double bubble wrap plus air packets and the lid was clearly hit by a sharp object or edge. For the price I paid they should check more carefully what they are shipping. You should have seen the science project growing inside. The other jar that was not open tased rancid. I guess even in the winter, it is not a good idea to order perishable food. But at the same time, it could be that this company is not storing their products properly. It is winter, and I did pay for second day delivery.

Everything started when my favorite supermarket stopped carrying my Taramosalata...What a shame!
To make my order worthwhile, I ordered 2 jars, because just for one, the shipping is more expensive than then content! But that's fine (to get 2 jars)because the expiration date was in about 1 year, so obviously I have plenty of time to eat both of them.
The taramosalata was as tasty as usual- no disappointments there. The shipping was fast. Would order again.

This is a product I bought from the refrigerated section of Whole Foods for years. It needs to be refrigerated and whatever they are sending has a thick mucky consistency and tastes funny in comparison. I would not order again.

I enjoy this Greek style roe immensely. It is very tasty. It is kosher pareve, meaning that it is checked by rabbis to make sure it is pure caviar from a kosher fish, and no milk products or meat was added. I like to have it on Friday night as part of my introduction to the Sabbath.
I buy it at the local food stand at the flea market in Florida and pay only $4.99, a third of the amazon price and no shipping cost.
