Since the end of colonization, Africa has struggled with socio-economic and political problems. These challenges have attracted wealthy donors from Western nations and organizations that have assumed the roles of helper and deliverer. While some donors have good intentions, others seek to impose their ideology of sexual liberation. These are the ideological neocolonial masters of the twenty-first century who aggressively push their agenda of radical feminism, population control, sexualization of children, and homosexuality.

The author, a native of Nigeria, shows how these donors are masterful at exploiting some of the heaviest burdens and afflictions of Africa such as maternal mortality, unplanned pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, child marriage, and persistent poverty. This exploitation has put many African nations in the vulnerable position of receiving funding tied firmly to ideological solutions that are opposed to the moral and cultural values of their people. Thus many African nations are put back into the protectorate positions of dependency as new cultural standards conceived in the West are made into core policies in African capitals.

It is a valuable insight into the plight of African nations that have been held hostage by Western donors and corrupt government officials in a modern Neocolonialism based on an ideology that pushes population control, sexual promiscuity and sexually fluid definitions of sexuality, marriage and the family. This is one of the best prolife books I have read, it’s full of citations and data that is hidden from the common knowledge, I just wish that in addition to the data that is backed on, it contained religious considerations as Obianju is catholic and she really tried to make this book in a non-religious fashion, which if added would made this book as eternal as Humanae Vitae. Without religious arguments the book is great, anyway. It asks why are powerful nations and people so attracted to promote abortion where is no needed, no called for, and otherwise, no desired by anyone. There is an actual war in this world between good and evil, and we all know that abortists are part of the evil that in some centuries will be remembered as we all remember cannibals or slavery.

This is a fantastic book. Anyone truly interested in the preservation of a culture should read this. It’s shocking what our supposedly “caring” western philanthropists, the UN and the US government are doing to Africa. These new ideological colonists are doing more damage in the name of good than the colonists of old did in the name of greed and conquest. Keep in mind that Ms. Ekeocha is an actual African women who doesn’t need to be told by a rich western donor what her countries needs are. She is a true African not a Hollywood stereotype. Her story is about Africa and how the west is flooding it with condoms, pills and abortion to wipeout the African population. I thought Thanos was the bad guy in The Avengers? If we truly respect other cultures and diversity like we claim we do in the West why are we not respectingAfricans beliefs? Why are we telling them “The world would be a better place if there were less of your kind in it.” Talk about racist. The Black Panther should have stayed in Africa and fought against all those “helpful” western foundations who try to help Africans by killing Africans.

If there is one thing these organizations, foundations, and NGOs are not, is "humanitarian".
