Package includes 7 tips for most major laptop brands, charging brick, 12V adapter, AC cord, USB port, and laptop cable. No case is provided. Almost all connections are proprietary and unique to this charger (i.e. they are different than the tips and connections on another Targus charger I bought a year ago!); the only exception being the connection from the AC cord to the brick, which appears to be a standard 2-plug connection like many laptop chargers. It's a bit hard to tell the correct orientation of the connections since the connections for the tips and the USB port are circular with just a small chord removed to subtly flatten one side, and the laptop cable connects to the brick with a 3 pin connector that is a very shallow v-shape. However the connections all fit tightly and seem unlikely to fall apart spontaneously.
To charge a laptop and a USB device from AC (wall current), the connection is AC cord - brick - laptop cable - USB port - laptop tip. To charge a laptop + USB device from the car, the connection is 12V adapter - laptop cable - USB port - laptop tip. The USB port can be left out if you aren't charging a USB device.Read more ›
Well it charges my laptop fine. I haven't had the chance to try it with any other laptops, but I will definitely be taking this one with me on the go in case a travel companion needs a charge. I'm not too sure about the USB charger dongle, it charges my cellphone fine when it is idle, but the amperage might be too low to charge my phone during use since I noticed it was still discharging although at a slower rate.
The inline fast usb charger would not charge my blackberry phone or tablet, but blackberries seem very fussy about their chargers.

Took this charger overseas. It worked great for charging my computer and phone on both 110V at home and 220V in Asia. Great product.Published 17 months ago by Philip N
The high-power USB interface at the end is very handy for when I use my cell phone as a hot spot - keeps the phone charged better than the low-power laptop USB bus.Published 21 months ago by Mark
