Can't go wrong for the price.

I purchased this case to house a Dell XPS 15.6" laptop. It fits perfectly inside the case around the edges, but there's a bit of extra room on the top/bottom of the laptop, or front/back of the case. It would not keep my laptop still, if I needed it to. It's snug enough that it would take a good jarring to move it around, though, because the edges are so snug.

The description says that the case features a strong magnetic closure. I wouldn't call it "strong". It's just sort of there. On the front of the case, there's actually a flap that extends beneath where you can see the Targus logo. It slides inside of the slot that you can see just beneath the logo. Without a laptop in the case, the magnet is strong enough to pull the tab all the way in with some encouragement, but it's not capable of "self-closure" without help, or with resistance of any kind. It's not strong enough to hold the laptop inside the case should the case be turned upside down. It should also be noted that the laptop is visible from the sides, even when the flap is fully closed. If security is a concern, you may want to add an additional piece of fabric to cover the laptop from view, and perhaps a strip of Velcro or a button to keep the flap more securely shut.

The leather looks and feels nice. No weird smells. High-quality stitching.

It's not a bad way to spend $16.04.

high Quality -but not thin enough for a macbook pro 15"

This product would be great for your standard toshiba or a bulky older gaming laptop. Its very high quality and i was shocked at how low of a price i found it for on amazon. I guess i didn't read the dimensions for the thickness which they do have listed as over 2.5 inches. With the original macbook pro that is less than 0.5 inches thick, there is a lot of room to spare. I guess when i go to the bookstore I will slide in the power cord, and about 4 moleskin notebooks. Or if I have a text book to read it could easily fit inside. It looks great when it's filled out nicely. the bottom is sturdy and the magnetic slot through clasp is very high quality feeling. But if it's not filled out, the top is sloppy and hard to hold on to. I plan on using mine for business meetings and sliding in about 4 foam-core boards with my mounted presentations inside. It looks very professional, but slightly masculine.

Professional Protective Laptop Case

This case was exactly what I needed! It was a perfect fit. I own a 15.6" Sony Vaio EL Series laptop. I was worried it wasn't going to fit because this laptop is actually quite bulky but so is the case. It is beautiful black leather infused with oils to make it last longer. Best of all I got it for $16 shipping included. This case definitely looks like it's worth $80. I wouldn't recommended it for ultra-slim laptops. This case is quite thick.

The slipcase LOOKS quite nice (stylish, classy, and soft to the touch), however, I don't think it should really be called a "slipcase" because it's the size of a small brief or messenger. I have a Macbook Pro 15.4" and I'm pretty sure I could fit it into this case three times over and still have breathing room. If your computer is a mammoth then this is a great buy, but if it is anything less then huge your laptop will bounce around and therefore not be adequately protected.

I love this carrying case. It fits my MacBook Pro 15 inch slightly loosely, but i like this as it allows me to also carry a folder or some papers along easily, and it's not too much extra space. it is very high-quality feeling and looking, and for $18 this is a steal! the only potential problems might arise from the fact that it has no handle or strap, although personally i rather like this. Overall, i very much recommend this product.
