I tried to take as many photos of these as I could to include with my review and I hope they're helpful. I didn't know what to expect, since this is my first set of tarot cards. In the pictures my tarot cards are shown with the Lo Scarabeo Baset bag. I ordered them at the same time. :)
For some reason all my photos are showing up tilted to the wrong side. Does anyone know how I can remedy this? Thank you, in advance!
I put the cards in order, cleansed, blessed it to use.
Even so, the energy of this deck is very powerful in my opinion. I know many say it is just paper/cardstock or just a tool, but I have always felt entities within the cards themselves. I can't handle it for very long because of the energy, but I am gradually able to handle them more and more each day. Readings are spot on. I don't recommend this deck to a beginner for the simple fact that someone would need to know the meanings of the cards for the most part.
Overall, I really do love this deck & am glad I purchased it.
I love this deck. other people love this deck. I've had some of the most amazing and insightful readings with this deck.
the artwork is beautiful. the gold is just right. actually who am I kidding... it could be covered in gold and it would be 'just right' for me. I'm half raven so I like sparkle and this deck has it. :)
if you have an affinity for ancient Egypt and/or all things tarot you will not be disappointed with this deck.
The only thing I didn't like about the art work is the deliberate white flakes of missing colors throughout the images, if all of Egypt could be seen in its magnificent colored glory then one would be so spirituality moved. To me, its the only distraction. Also I dont care for the very short, dry cut meanings to the cards maybe im being a little bias because I study the in depth esoterical teachings of Alister Crowley when it comes to the Tarot. I feel that if your going to design a tool of spiritual development then you should attribute as much effort to the philosophy as to the art. Besides that these tarot cards are by far," The Best Of Egypt." and yes they are every bit worth the price.
Anyhow did a reading and it showed a satisfactory answer to my question of if the cards and I would get along. Plus I did a pendulum reading to confirm. Over all nice deck. Not really worth the $40 price tag in my oppinion. I just want to keep this one nice looking. Still going to use it in rituals and that will probably be the only time I use it.
