Great shimmers with a lackluster highlighter

The highlighter isn't very much to write home about, which is surprising when it's surrounded by such bright shimmers. The colors aren't so much a pigment in and of itself (aside from the admittedly faint matte transition shade that's provided), but instead it's shimmer densely packed enough to present a color. These are best used paired with other high-impact shadows, but are lovely in and of themselves. I personally enjoy using the green-looking shade, which comes out looking like a bright gold sparkle, on top of looks that just need a little bit extra. The lack of pigment also opens the floor for many other looks-lining lids with sparkle, for instance, or using it as a facial decoration.

The formula is amazing, even if the highlighter comes out a bit chunky.

I’m so impressed with this product. I bought this palette from Sephora in June maybe and have recently run low on a couple colors. I noticed the product is no longer sold there or at the company so I looked elsewhere. I found Amazon to be cheapest and was worried that it would be a knockoff or not as good of quality but that is not the case! Exact same pallette I bought this summer. The colors are highly pigmented and a perfect combination with each other. I love shimmer shadows that are not too dark, this pallette is it! So happy!

I absolutely love this palette. Tarte was sold out when I bought this, so I snatched it up. Tarte has since restocked this palette for a (currently) cheaper price than this seller is offering. Save yourself a couple bucks and buy from Tarte. But definitely a fantastic palette, and the colors are really fun to blend and play with.

Okay, here's the deal - when you pull this baby out from it's box, you will audibly gasp! You will need a minute to just admire this pink swirly jewel like gold round case. Open it up, & you may just swoon! 💖It will be love at first sight! 💓 You will be enamored! And oh yeah.... the shadow colors are glistening jewel toned perfection. A sweep of your finger will give you this shimmery multi-dimensional color, that sort of floats on your skin, like a watery mirage. It's spectacular! You may never stop adoring this treasure like aquisition, with it's mirror inside the lid, & each color inlayed in a cirle around a large iridescent white shadow/highlighter. This pallette reminds me of summers by the glistening water, or a getaway on a tropical island.

You want this pallette! It's one of a kind! You can play all day with the different uses of this pallete. Each color can be layed down over a matte look (from other pallettes you own) to make it shimmery perfection. Use a little, or alot, depending upon the look you're going for. For example, do a matte green shadow on your lid, & then put a wash of the green shimmer from this pallete, over top to pop the color. It is not one of those cheap, call girl looking shimmers. It reminds me of Chanel or Dior's eyeshadow quads. They are multi-dimensional, sheer-like shadows, that can create all kinds of looks.

All I can say, is make sure, when you receive it in the mail, that you have a good 6 hours to play with all the different looks you can achieve! This pallette is an artists dream. It is a luxurious addition to your collections, not a basic staple.
