Not the color I expected

I didn't realize Tarte had these lipsticks as I don't ever see them in Ulta. I saw a model with this color on and it seemed like her lips were glossier with more of a pink hue to it. It's somewhat matte and the way I can describe the texture and color is like smearing a beige concealer stick over your lips. I couldn't imagine just wearing this color alone. It washes me out and I add pink gloss over it. I would not purchase again.

Color: Set Sail

I love this color, not to wild but still gives me that pop I'm looking for. Stays on for the couple of hours I use it. I'm not sure if it last longer as I take it off right away. I can't wait to purchase a new one once mine is finished this is my new go to lipstick.
