Toy-Box are great. Their new single out in Denmark is called "The Sailor Song." It is so awesome. Their whole album, infact, is pretty neat. You can probably compare them very much to Aqua. Too bad their American record company doesn't promote them at all. This group would have been a huge hit here in the U.S.A. Oh well! Watch out for these other artists! Hit'n'Hide, Miss Papaya, Lolly, Bambee, and Babe!

For any Toy-Box fan out there, you should definately pick up this rare single while you still can. The track listing is as follows:

1. Tarzan & Jane (SINGLE version)

2. Tarzan & Jane (MAXI version)

3. Tarzan & Jane (CLUB version)

The reason I rated this single 4 out of 5 stars was because it only had three tracks, as compared to the "Best Friend" single which had five. They could have put another mix or two on this, but the ones on it definately are good. Now for my review of each track.

1. Tarzan & Jane (SINGLE version)-This version is the one that appears on their first album "Fantastic" so it's nothing new to an existing fan. There is one exception, the song starts out with that chime like the video does, but besides that it's exactly the same.

2. Tarzan & Jane (MAXI version)-The MAXI version just means that it's the extended version of the original. It's a minute longer than the original, and even if you are getting tired of the original, the new bits in this version will spice it up for you and the song will be brand new again.

3. Tarzan & Jane (CLUB version)-This version is good, it's very techno-y and dance-y, something I can picture hearing at a club. The one downfall to this song is that it doesn't have very much lyrics, especially Amir's parts in the song. This version does kick ass though.

So overall, if you are Toy-Box fan adn want to hear it all, pick this up no doubt. If you like just this song, I suggest you buy one of their albums instead and pick this up later. You'll get bored of it quick, and they do have a lot of other good stuff. For a great bargain on the limited edition version of their CD, go to [...] and search for Toy-Box. This version of their CD has a bonus track and a bonus disc which includes music videos, interviews and behind the scenes.

I thought that this song was really cute and those who don't like it don't know what they are talking about.

Amir and Anila, plus their producer Golden Child, seem to have struck oil. "Tarzan & Jane" is an updated Aqua sound that your mind won't let you forget, whether you like it or not! The short song (2:59) is a dance-pop treat, but this group seems to be only a retread of Aqua, with their first hit comparable to Aqua's "Barbie Girl". Unlike Daze, who forged their own Danish turbo-pop/euro sound, it seems as if Toy Box is content to just add some progressive synthesizers to their music and say their different from Aqua. If it wasn't for Amir's accent, I could swear Rene and Lene from Aqua were singing here. I highly recommend this single, as it will have you humming the tune for hours on end. But whether I will get the CD "Fantastic" (which apparently will be released in the US on September 21st) depends on the quality of their next release.

This is sweet!! I have been looking EVERYWHERE for Toy-Box! I was able to get this single brand new for a little over [...]. However I noticed that the CD I got did come sealed but this single did not have the yellow thing on the side of the cover and the CD is not a scratch and sniff, and the Front part of the CD lookes a little fuzzy and smudged. Also on the inside of the case where it holds the CD into place a few pieces are missing, I'm starting to think that this is NOT a brand new single and also that this might be a bootleg and I do NOT want to have had payed over [...] for a bootleg Toy-Box single. But oh well at least I got the music!

I first heard this song on RADIO DISNEY. It gets pretty frequent air play. If TOYBOX isn't careful, they may get pegged as a child's CD. With titles like Tarzan & Jane, Best Friend and The Sailor Song they need to be careful.
Enough soapboxing though. The song is upbeat, and good to get your blood pumping. Natural dance tune. Cheesy yet catchy lyrics.
Very interesting that Amazon.com is the only place you can get the American release. Virginrecords online didn't seem to carry, neither did Borders.
Overall, a very good song, wish they would release the entire album here in the States.

I really like Toy-box they are fun sounding and upbeat. This song is funny but very pleasing to the ear as well. They remind me a lot of Aqua with simmalar beats and themes. The only way I ever heard this song was because I found it on an Aqua download site.

Toy-box is a group that is almost like Aqua. Their song Tarzan and Jane is just like Barbie girl. If this group sounds a lot like aqua on the album i might become a fan. the song is preety good, but it just seemed that they tried to much to be like aqua.
