here is the cover artwork I made and you can post it on your website. to make us HAMMER FANS get the ball rolling again. warner is not for the HAMMER FILMS FANS
Ralph Bates was supposed to be the main villain but Warner said they would not finance without Christopher Lee, which was probably a wise decision. Bates does good here, though, and you can see him in other Hammer movies like Lust for a Vampire. If you like Hammer movies and are interested in Dracula, you really should see this movie.
Anyway, the movie itself is one of my favorite ones after the original Horror of Dracula. Like most of these movies, it starts right where the last one ended -- Dracula is dead...or is he? There's someone collecting the last of his blood so that can't be good. Then it revolves around a group of English gentlemen that all tell their wives they go off to do "charity work" when in reality they go whoop it up at the brothel. But they're bored with it all. They want more excitement so they hook up with a libertine type that can get that vial of Dracula's blood so they can (wait for it) TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA! As you can imagine, it doesn't go terribly well for anyone from there.
(Fun fact: one of the English gentlemen is the guy that did the voice of Wallace in the "Wallace and Gromit" shorts so it's really weird to hear that voice in this context. Heck, the movie is worth it for that alone.)
as for the movie its quite good pretty much standard hammer
