Editorial Reviews

Amidst this sea of mediocrity Autumn Jones Lake has given us a series that is set in an MC but where the emphasis is on the relationships, the camaraderie and the romance, not so much the violence and grit of a one percenters world, yes it could be called soft but for me it has a freshness that stands out, characters that engage and leave you wanting more and, with this latest offering, the development of Ms Lake as a writer and the growth shown is beautiful to watch.
Not only is the timeline seamless with no confusion but the telling of the events from Wrath and Trinity's point of view is fascinating and doesn't feel like a regurgitation of the other
books. - Rebecca, Book Loving Pixies
EVERY book shows amazing forethought, and fantastic character development. Her characters are so real, and her writing is so well done, it's like watching a movie in my head instead of a reading a book. MY very definition of great book. I proudly give this book 5 stars. - Sirenda, Swoon Worthy Books
Get ready to melt and sigh, to gasp and giggle, and to yearn and yell as you experience the desperation and danger of yet another amazing installment in the Lost Kings MC series.  - Rosarita, iScream Books
Tattered On My Sleeve is intense, deep, emotional, and burning hot. It will break your heart, melt your panties, and leave you with a big smile on your face when it's over.  -Peachy Book Love

Finally!! Finally I got my read more in depth the real story behind Trinity and where she came from, how she became Rock's BFF and why Wrath was such a mean but still loveable bad-boy enforcer for his club.
From the first time Hope meets Trinity in the earlier books and treats her like just another "girlfriend", a human being with feelings and giving her the respect she deserved (and NOT like just a club whore)...I knew both girls were destined to be besties and despite their very different backgrounds, they shared a real bond of sisterhood that was wonderful to see flourish.
Tattered takes place over the course of the entire series, but from Wrath and Trinity's POVs, giving us an in-depth look at what went on from the moment Rock brought Hope into the MC to the time when both couples became something really solid.
I appreciated that the truth was laid out for all to sugar-coating of what Trinity's role in the club was (her choice not forced)...but that Wrath, despite his gruff exterior and man-whoring ways, loved her anyway and never made her feel like she was less than the most beautiful woman in his world. Two people who lived their lives by the seat of their pants and fought for respect, needed someone to see all the goodness inside them and finally battled their own insecurities and inner-demons to get the love they both deserved...despite the misunderstandings and jealousy that kept them apart for too long.
This was a beautiful book, strong and sexy and at times frustrating (all the back and forth between them for eight years takes a toll on everyone) but above all else it was just a really deeply rewarding love story between two good hearted souls who deserved more than their lives dished out to them.

This is Wrath and Trinity's story and it is told parallel to Strength From Loyalty (Book 3). In this book Wrath and Trinity are trying to find their way back to each other, and we find out both Wrath's and Trinity's back story. I have to say that I struggled with my feelings about this story. I have no hang-ups about the heroine of a romance needing to be completely chaste, but, my struggle was with Trinity having been a club girl. Imagine having to live with and interact every day, in the same space, with a group of men you have been intimate with. Combine this with the fact that the man you are now in love with is one of the "brothers" in an MC with these guys. Awkward!! Poor Trinity has had a brutal, abusive childhood and was sexualized at an inappropriate age then brutally raped by a group of bikers. I understood her penchant for using sex to secure her place but there was a definite ick factor about this for me. Now, that aside, Wrath and Rock have a "come to Jesus" meeting and everything about Trinity coming to live at the club and her subsequent becoming "club a**" is ironed out. A bunch of misconceptions, unexplained motivations, and definitely poor communication on everyone's part led to years of wasted time for the couple. I enjoyed the work that the couple did to finally come together and I appreciated reading more about each of the brothers in the club, especially Murphy - I really want to read his story because I just know that he and Heidi belong together!. Rock and Hope appear prominently in the story and this was great, I love this couple. There is, for sure, a thinly veiled cliffy to this story, the aftermath of Trinity's near abduction can't possibly be wrapped up so neatly. I don't trust that new stripper from the Vipers!! This was a really good book in the LOKI series. Can't wait for the next book!

Another great story from Autumn! I love this book for Wrath and Trinity. I had all the feels reading it....laughter...sadness...intense angst when reading the violence that happened....and oh the hot passion between them. Trinity grew up in the MC life....although not the type of MC that is the Lost Kings. They don't hurt their women or intentionally hurt civilians. Wrath and Trinity share a few amazing days together and then he has to make a club run and while he is a way....danger from Trinity's past comes back to haunt her so she goes to club president Rock....and he makes her an offer to help her out. Wrath comes home and he is not happy. Misunderstandings and pig headedness on Wrath's part keeps them from continuing together and basically draws a line in the sand between the two. Years go by and more hurt occurs. They seem to take one step further then five giant steps backwards.
I loved all of the back story of this book and it was so intriguing to get to read how they started to how they got to the 3rd book in the series.
At times Wrath was a jerk.....but as you read you can see why he felt the way he did.
Trinity takes a lot of crap from certain people in this story....and yet she remains sweet as can be....and such a strong girl. I love her!!!!
By the end of the book you will love him as much as I did!!! I need more of these guys!!!! All of the characters in these books are just so loveable!!! And you cheer for al of them to have a happy ending!!!

I have one word for this book, WOW! I was obsessed with Trinity and Wrath story. Every free moment I had I was reading their story and hoping they could make it work.

Trinity and Wrath are two very broken people. They each have suffered abuse at the hands of the people they trusted most. Trinity in particular has suffered through heinous abuse that has left her soul scarred. Trinity has let these scares define who she is, which prevents her from having any meaningful relationships.

When Trinity meets Wrath there is an instant connection and they are two lost souls that found a home in each other. However, Trinity is unable to comprehend that a man could see her as anything more than a toy to be played with and ends up sabotaging this new relationship.

Autumn Jones Lake throughout this series, especially in this book has, is a master of showing the beauty in the broken and ugly. Trinity and Wrath are both broken and both have an ugly past but this only defines them if they allow. I loved how this book showed that no matter what a person has been through doesn't mean they are not deserving of love and respect.

Wrath surprised me in this book. I wasn't necessary his biggest fan, but after this book I love him. Wrath really has a big heart and the things he did for Trinity in this book had me swooning. The length he went to for Trinity was A-MA-Zing and made me fall in love with him a bit more.
