Brilliant scrubbers!

I bought one recently and loved it for scrubbing pots and pans, including the old no-longer non-stick ones. I have nothing but praise for it, so much so in fact, I bought a *second* one just for scrubbing the veggies. The price is worth every penny since it outlasts those thin polyester scrubbers. These aren't made of synthetics, but of the brown coconut shell. While I have no idea how long it will last, it's easier to clean and I know it will last longer.

We bought this brush with the intention of using it to scrub pots. Upon receiving it, my wife became concerned that it might be a little too "aggressive" for the pots. I thumbed the bristles and immediately thought, "Hmm. This would probably feel pretty good on my back." I was right! This makes a nice dry brush if you like something a little firm. It feels great and I think I've actually been sleeping a little better after a nice dry-brushing with this product. I need to find one on a stick! So I've never actually used it for its intended purpose, but I give it 5 stars as a back scratcher/dry brush.

Overall satisfied with this brush, but it can be a bit awkward to hold. I have used it to remove debris from my cast iron skillet and aluminum pans. Not sure about durability, but after a couple of months mine still has its original shape and has not shed any fibers.

After some research I ran across this brush as the best cleaning brush for cast iron cookware, and in my experience it is top notch. I have been using this brush EXCLUSIVELY in cast iron when needed. If anything happens to stick to my skillet while cooking (during it's process to be more seasoned to eventually being non stick) All I do is add a bit of hot water in the inside (NO SOAP!!) and gently, almost wipe, with this brush and it just comes off! every time! Most of the "oil" that you used for cooking that you want for "seasoning" still will stay while the "crummy, sticky" parts are flushed away... fantastic. just remember (for those that do not know) after you rinse, drain, and put back on the stove for a few min to evaporate ANY water left and re apply a thin coat of oil and set aside for next time! :)

Bought this hoping to replace the rotating disposable sponge routine (primarily hoping to avoid the 'smelly sponge'). After reading so many rave reviews on various websites, I thought I'd give it a shot, but alas, both my husband and I found this to still be a smelly dish scrubber. The natural palm material just stays kind of wet and creates a damp, musty smell. It does hold up well running through the dishwasher, but inevitably, it didn't work out for us. I'm sad to see it go because it is a natural material and has decent scrubbing power. I just can't stand the smell of it.

I don’t understand the physics of the mechanics. All I know is that these guys clean my glass stove top and my metal pots and pans and leave them sparkling clean. They should break down, but they don’t!
