Taylor’s 8215N Bi-Therm Pocket Probe Dial Thermometer offers precise and accurate temperature readings for multiple purposes. It measures between 0°F to 220°F (-10°C to 100°C), ideal for making cheese and yogurt, brewing tea, frothing different kinds of milk, and even checking commercial HVAC work. The 7 ¾” stainless steel stem features a dimple indicating how deep to insert for the most accurate temperatures readings. The adjustable pan clip is perfect for attaching the thermometer to tall stock pots, pitchers, and frothing cups. The 1 ¾” anti-parallux dial features bold black graphics on a bright white background that is easy to read from different angles. The watertight, shatterproof plastic lens will not fog up in high temperatures, so you trust readings at a glance. If temperatures seem inaccurate, immerse at least 2” of the stem into liquid of a known temperature to determine the degrees of inaccuracy. Use a wrench or pliers to grip the hex nut and rotate the thermometer head to correct the error. |
Insert the thermometer stem into the pan clip and attach the thermometer to the side of a pot or frothing cup. For accurate results, at least 2” of the stem must be immersed but do not allow the tip to touch the bottom of the vessel. |

Drilled a small hole above the evaporator coil and you'll be able to monitor your HVAC system. This should be the appropriate temperature range for a residential HVAC system. My cooling is 55°F and heat is 110°F
