I have not yet tried to make hot chocolate with the discs, because I feel for the price, it is better to eat it directly and nibble on the individual triangle pieces within, rather than use a whole disc for a glass of milk. I cannot rate this product more highly. It is simply the most delicious and enjoyable chocolate ever! If you like dark chocolate and want to taste something different from all the chocolate you have had before, get it!
This is a really delightful sampler of delicious organic chocolate. It is just cacao beans, cane sugar and what ever seasoning makes up the flavor enhancement (cinnamon, vanilla, guajillo chili, salt & pepper, orange, chipotle chili, ginger, and cacao puro). It can be enjoyed as is or you can make a hot chocolate drink with it. "Good to Eat or Drink". So very good and of course it is healthy :). Our favorite so far is the guajillo chili. Yummy chocolate with a kick.
Flavor is good, but I don't think the varieties are anything out of the ordinary next to other chocolate makers. Many companies are putting out a lot of different variations now.
All in all I'm glad I tried it, but it's not my cup of tea. :)
You can either break them up and add them to coffee or hot milk, or melt them into milk, cream or half-in-half.

These are super delicious! The chocolate is dark and the texture is more granular than what a Hershey's chocolate bar would be like. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Megan Levitt
Tastes Good. But Not sure this is a good value. The volume of hot chocolate you can make with one disc seems a bit low for the asking price. Read morePublished 1 month ago by SPAMFriedRice
I have eaten two at this point. I think they are fine and certainly "different" from milk chocolate. One reviewer mentioned the unusual texture. It is sandy or gritty.Published 1 month ago by Nom de plume
It tastes really great. I prefer eating it as opposed to making hot chocolate. Kinda expensive though at +$20.Published 2 months ago by Herbie
