I got my wife an Amazon gift card for Christmas, and she used part of it to buy this book. My health hasn't been the best lately and I've been very busy at work, so I think that she's being very prudent in learning how to deal with "final expenses" and take over the household finances and maintenance of the house and car. Yesterday another book arrived for her from Amazon: A Field Guide To Toxic Plants Of North America. I have such a thoughtful wife! She knows that I have a number of life-threatening allergies, and she wants to make sure that I stay away from anything that might harm me. Gotta go now, it's dinner time. She's made me a big salad that she says will end all of my worries about cholesterol.

I found this book in the glove box of my wifes car, along with a length of rope, duck tape, chloroform and a rag.
It was bookmarked at page 17. I figure that gives me about 5 days to figure out what to do.
Damn, I wish this book was longer.

Being a woman I don't know much about anything other than how soft a kittens fur is, or how to have it all whilst maintaining a radiant skincare routine, so I was delighted to find a book that would help me prepare for the future. I was absolutely dismayed to no information on how to be an effective Cougar. Having trapped myself a man as a mere youngster I feel I need help with what's new with sex now.

I've been married almost 10 years and you other wives didn't tell me about this? Why am I always the last one to know about the good stuff!?! You ladies don't like me do you? Is it my pie? The crust isn't flaky enough, is it? *crawls into corner and weeps*

This book includes not a whit of guidance on how your wife can be a window. False advertising! On the plus side, it prompted a change of heart and my wife now would prefer to be a sliding door.

Just wish I had read this BEFORE I got divorced! I would be a lot richer now.

I wish I could recommend this book. It's an easy read and thoroughly researched but, after going through all of the steps with my wife, I woke up this morning completely alive. I even checked my pulse. At first I thought I'd missed something, so I asked my wife what was up. Apparently she is "uncomfortable" with the idea of moving on at this time. Only purchase if your wife is both capable of a capital crime and willing to accept the consequences. Mine wasn't. What a rip off.

Written by four-time widower Donald Rogers, Teach Your Wife To Be A Widow is a very concise and detailed guide to surviving widowhood. I bought this book for my wife, and with her newly acquired skill set and realization that she could not only survive but thrive without me, I find myself divorced at the age of 52. Unfortunately, the title I had meant to buy was David Rodger's Teach Your Wife To Bead A Window. She wanted to lend a hand fixing up our drafty old home, which I now find myself all alone in because of a hasty purchase made without my reading glasses...
